Pros: Its a free app and has a very integrated systems for ease of use as it is part of the Meta ecosystem. It is my main app for chatting and messaging. Is it also good for project managing my team in a pinch when they are away from their desk. No bugs or issues & great customer support
Cons: Nothing pops to mind when I try to think of any issues with the app. It is very well maintained which I am glad of!

My overall experience with WhatsApp was excellent. Creating the ENACT channel made it incredibly easy to share environmental activities, course updates, and educational content with over 1,000 students from my Canadian Environmental Issues class at Concordia. Since most students already used WhatsApp, they joined instantly, and the channel became a central hub for monitoring our environmental initiatives. It’s fast, organized, and perfect for large‑scale communication.
Pros: What I liked most was how easy it was to reach over 1,000 students instantly through the ENACT channel. Sharing environmental activities, updates, and links across platforms was simple, and students could join with one click.
Cons: What I liked least is that channels don’t allow two‑way communication unless you open a separate group. It limits interaction, but it still works well for broadcasting updates.

Overall excellent and useful application, which I use globally on daily business for personal and business communication.
Pros: The almost instantaneous communication with anyone, practically anywhere on a global level, in addition to the ease with which you can set up a quick ad hoc group chat for a particular event, occasion, etc. Also, making calls through VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) via WhatsApp, instead of conventional cellphone to cellphone calling.
Cons: Very occasionally, the App freezes or just does not work, and you have to re-start your cellphone. Sometimes if there is a problem with the actual app, no notification or alert is sent, and you may find yourself waiting for a considerable amount of time.

Overall, it was great I communicated with vendor outside of the US with ease they were able to show me picture of the products right through whats app.
Pros: You can contact people overseas without extra cost and very easy to use. Great for people who have their own business to find vendors
Cons: I really never had any problems and concern, but I do believe they need more of a security protocol with logging in

Overall, WhatsApp is my go-to communication tool because almost everyone I know uses it, making it the most reliable way to stay in touch globally. While it has some minor flaws regarding customization and data storage, the consistent updates and high-quality voice and video calls make it an essential app for both my personal life and professional networking.
Pros: I really appreciate the seamless end-to-end encryption which makes me feel secure about my privacy. The interface is incredibly intuitive and works smoothly even on slower internet connections. I also love the versatility of the desktop app, which allows me to stay connected and type much faster while I am working without needing to check my phone constantly.
Cons: The main drawback for me is the lack of a proper 'sign out' option, which makes it hard to disconnect sometimes. I also find the file management system a bit messy, as media often clutters my phone gallery unless I manually disable it. Additionally, the limit on file sizes for high-quality video sharing can be frustrating when I need to send large documents or clips.

Its easy to install find and install. It keeps me in touch within the UK with my family who live 300 miles away be it video, text or phone calls that cost nothing to make.
Pros: I am in my fifties and found it easy to install and fairly easy to use for sending messages, making phone calls and even sending photo's or video's.
Cons: The only problem I have with Whatsapp is knowing which are my new messages when you think you have seen the latest message but the new message icon is still on the app.

Pros: I love whatsapp's instant message delivery to my clients and status views. I use it every day and it will continue to be that way.
Cons: I’m frustrated that statuses can’t exceed 30 seconds, this is forcing me to cut long videos and post multiples clips which is unnecessary more step.

Overall, WhatsApp is easy to use, reliable when I am local and reliable when I travel internationally.
Pros: Very easy to navigate the app. I also enjoy the capability of using when I am traveling internationally.
Cons: What I least like about WhatsApp is the awareness of all my contacts to use the app. Most still use text on their phone primarily.

Overall we rely on this app heavily for communication with our employees. It also streamlines messaging between people with Androids and Apple phones.
Pros: Excellent tool to communicate with people when out of the country. Very effective and reliable app for those who have access to WiFi. We have a lot of international employees who prefer to do all of their communicating this way.
Cons: I have found the notification system to be a little unreliable - ie, when you get a message you do not receive an alert.

Great experience. I still use it. I would use it much more if I could coworkers to join in order to use the group messaging
Pros: Ability to make group chats. Clean and organized. It is very user friendly. Nice to keep work chats separate from my own text messages.
Cons: It sometimes lags with conversations or doesn’t connect when you need it too. So items sit in limbo if you don’t notice

I would say my overall experience has been great. I mostly use it for communication via messaging or video calls especially with Android devices since I own iOs devices.
Pros: I enjoy using what’s app it definitely provides value. Also makes communication between androids and Mac systems. Very easy to use and can be incorporated with many different platforms. Customer support is very easy to find and use online chat for the What’s App.
Cons: I did not come across and bugs or issues. It always worked very well for me. Never had dropped call issues. No undelivered or received messages. Easily merged with many different platforms and softwares. So I would say over all I did not have a bad experience with this App.

Overall is a very good messaging platform, it makes communicating with my team very easy, and I love that I can create separate groups for different situations.
Pros: It is free, and very easy to set up. It follows your phone number, that makes messaging and chatting easy, I love that I can have it on my computer, that helps me with managing the calls, projects, and messages with ease.
Cons: When using it in different platforms, the sync can sometimes take a while, but overall the integration is very good.
Jesus G. · Case Worker · Mental Health Care · May 4, 2026
Julie C. · Aide Soignante · Hospital & Health Care · May 4, 2026
It has been a very pleasant and useful experience having access to colleagues and clients and friends very far away from me.
Pros: It is easy to use and connects you with people you ordinarily might not have access to and it is free.
Cons: Sometimes it can be a little unreliable but this is very rarely and there are people contacting you who you don’t know.

Overall experience with WhatsApp has been very positive. It is a simple and reliable way to stay connected with people through messaging, voice calls, and video calls. Everything works in one place, which makes daily communication easy and convenient. It is especially useful for quick conversations and group chats, and it rarely requires any effort to figure out how things work. Despite a few small issues like storage usage or occasional call quality drops, it still remains one of the most dependable apps for personal communication.
Pros: $8e
Cons: What I like least about WhatsApp is the lack of strong customer support since there is no direct way to quickly resolve issues when something goes wrong. Most help is automated, which can feel limiting if a real problem comes up. Another downside is that it can take up a lot of storage over time, especially with frequent media sharing in chats and groups. This can slow down the phone if not managed regularly. There are also occasional issues like delayed messages or call quality dropping depending on internet connection, which can be frustrating during important conversations.

I use it quite often to stay in touch with overseas family and friends and I find I’m always happy with the quality of audio and video calls.
Pros: Great for international calling and messaging. Good quality on calls. Free with wifi and data. Makes it easy to keep in touch.
Cons: I have no issues with WhatsApp. The only thing I can say is I don’t care for the follow up in asking quality of calls
Mary Ellen M. · Owner · Health, Wellness and Fitness · April 30, 2026
Overall, WhatsApp has been a really solid everyday messaging app for me. It’s reliable, convenient, and makes staying connected with people feel effortless. I like that it works well whether you’re texting, calling, or sending quick voice notes. Even though it has a few quirks and could use more flexibility in some areas, it still does its job really well. It’s one of those apps you don’t think much about because it just works when you need it.
Pros: WhatsApp is super easy to use, and that’s honestly one of the best things about it. Messages send fast, voice notes are clear, and video calls usually work smoothly even when your signal isn’t great. Group chats are simple to manage, and sharing photos, locations, or documents feels effortless. The fact that everything is end to end encrypted also gives you a little extra peace of mind when chatting with friends or family.
Cons: It can get a bit overwhelming if you’re in a lot of group chats because notifications pile up fast. The app also takes up a good chunk of storage over time since it saves so many photos and videos by default. Some features, like customizing chats or managing media, feel a bit limited compared to other messaging apps. And if your phone dies or you switch devices, restoring backups can sometimes be slower or more annoying than you’d expect.

It is easy to use and very accessible! I like the chat feature and how quick and simple it is to communicate.
Pros: It is very easy to use with wifi and is commonly used by many people. I like it is simple to set up and message with other people quickly.
Cons: It is used by many so you have to be careful with scams and spam messages. It has limited customization.

Overall, my experience has been very positive for everyday communication. It’s simple, reliable, and makes it easy to stay connected through messages, voice calls, and video chats.
Pros: Its simple, reliable messaging and calling—it makes it easy to stay connected with texts, voice, and video calls, all in one app with end-to-end encryption for privacy.
Cons: The biggest downside is the limited customization and features compared to some other messaging apps. It also relies on a phone number for accounts, which can be inconvenient, and backup/transfer options can sometimes feel restrictive.
Melinda W. · Owner · Arts and Crafts · April 30, 2026
Five stars from a decidedly non‑techy older lady. I absolutely loved how easy it was to stay in touch with loved ones across the pond while I was away on a business trip. At the same time, my work colleagues were using the very same tool for team and group communications, which made everything wonderfully seamless. It’s a free service that truly overdelivers for what you pay—simple to use and reliable.
Pros: An intuitive design makes account creation quick and straightforward, and finding the right contacts is seamless and efficient.
Cons: Overall, my experience has been entirely positive, with no notable issues or negatives. I have nothing negative to say about the product.

A comfortable, good, and simple experience. These are essential and important applications that simplify many tasks and provide significant assistance at work. However, the AI chat integrated with Meta is not good, comfortable, or flexible. The application also has an issue with Android versions, forcing us to change phones in the future. Furthermore, the phone sometimes experiences memory problems; it can only manage memory effectively with large devices. With limited memory, it is prone to memory-related issues.
Pros: The ease of handling messages, the chat interface, and the settings and add-ons are all excellent. It's convenient and the best app in terms of ease of use, flexibility, and simplicity. It's one of my essential mobile apps.
Cons: The AI chat is terrible for me; it's uncomfortable and gives a negative feeling. It's not an AI relationship at all; it's a failed and unsuccessful attempt.

What’s has been great for me to use as a group texting tool for my class. Group would definitely continue to use it.
Pros: The app is extremely easy to use. I like that. It’s a private app. I use it mostly for business groups and it works really well.
Cons: It’s a little bit complicated when you first start to use it. But once you get the han of it, it’s pretty OK.
Vanessa L. · Owner · Retail · April 27, 2026
Overall, my experience with WhatsApp has been very positive. It’s a dependable and user-friendly app that makes staying in touch simple, whether through text, voice calls, or video chats. The ability to communicate instantly with individuals or groups—both locally and internationally—is incredibly convenient. While there are minor drawbacks like storage use and frequent notifications, the reliability, security, and ease of use make it a great communication tool for everyday personal and business use.
Pros: What I like most about WhatsApp is how simple and reliable it is for staying connected. The app is easy to use, messages send quickly, and calls are clear whether you’re messaging locally or internationally. I also appreciate features like group chats, voice messaging, and file sharing, which make both personal and business communication convenient. The end-to-end encryption adds peace of mind, knowing conversations are secure. Overall, it’s a fast, user-friendly app that makes communication effortless.
Cons: What I like least about WhatsApp is that it can sometimes feel overwhelming with constant notifications, especially in active group chats. Media files and photos can also take up storage space quickly if settings aren’t managed carefully. Additionally, transferring chat history between devices isn’t always as seamless as it could be. While it’s a very convenient messaging app overall, improving storage management and notification controls would make the experience even better.
