Great - I use it for all of our websites as soon as we set up the domains. We want to gather that data immediately from the start so we don’t miss any traffic points.
Pros: The data it provides for me to make marketing decisions is invaluable. Knowing exactly where and how we derive traffic helps us adjust our strategies to maximize our ad spend.
Cons: Sometimes getting the pixels and conversion trackers can be a little tricky. However once everything is set correctly it doesn’t need to be revisited.

I appreciate how seamlessly it integrates with the rest of the Google Marketing Platform and "Your business on Google", which makes it much easier to connect analytics data with advertising and optimization efforts. But I don't trust the plug-in for wordpress.
Pros: Ability to have one platform for multiple websites. Ease of integration. Driving down on the data is good when looking at website traffic sources. And it's free.
Cons: The plug-in for wordpress. I don't feel it is secure, and I pulled the system from my sites after being exposed to multiple hacks. I need to research this more.

Overall GA 360 has either met or exceeded all of our expectations in terms of features, functionality and reporting. If you're an organization that is trying to improve their data analysis and reporting Google Analytics 360 is a must-have tool.
Pros: Google Analytics 360 has allowed our organization to get richer data insights and provided a more streamlined way for data collection which helps inform our broader marketing strategies. The advanced website tracking has enabled us to dive deeper into understanding our customers and how they interact with our website. It is by far one of the most valuable tools we have when it comes to analyzing customer data. The platform itself is relatively easy to use, but can get increasingly complex if you require advanced reporting and dashboards.
Cons: The user interface itself is great, but things can get a little confusing and complex if you need to set up advanced features that require customization to fit your organizations needs. This will often require additional training or support. The learning curve can be a bit longer depending on the complexity of your analytics and data reporting.

Good. The product is robust in its features and capabilities for analytic tracking and analysis, the set up and implementation/comprehension of the information provided requires a very strong base knowledge of web analytics.
Pros: I like that Google analytics allows you to have multiple reports for specific analytics (demographics, page views, etc.) that you can easily navigate to within the app.
Cons: Google analytics was difficult to set up, understand, and implement without the use of multiple tutorials and self guided teaching.
Tracie B. · Executive Director · Non-Profit Organization Management · February 19, 2026
Overall, it’s a great tool that delivers deep insights, especially valuable for tracking digital marketing performance and member behavior.
Pros: Powerful data analysis capabilities, customizable dashboards, and strong integration with other Google products make it easy to analyze large datasets and uncover insights.
Cons: The platform’s complexity can be challenging for smaller credit union teams that don’t have dedicated analytics staff or technical support.

Marketing team relies deeply on this data and has given us much more transparency into internal and external traffic and trends
Pros: Is an upgrade with higher data limit, and lets us frack specific audiences in depth, more faster and better data in customized dashboards and reports.
Cons: The cost, there is a significant cost increase for enterprise especially larger orgs and we had to really assess the value but decided ultimately we have to have it as our competitors do.
Anonymous User · Director · Defense & Space · January 8, 2026
Overall, my experience was good. It is a very strong and professional tool for advanced analytics, but it requires time, practice, and a good understanding of data to really take advantage of it.
Pros: I really liked the level of detail in the data and the ability to analyze large amounts of traffic without issues. The integration with other Google tools is very powerful and helpful for decision making.
Cons: The learning curve is high and at the beginning it can be confusing. Also, the interface is not always intuitive and sometimes it takes time to find specific reports.
Roger A. · Owner · Marketing and Advertising · January 3, 2026
Pros: Google analytics is a really easy to use tool, with no cost. It’s really easy to integrate to any website and a lot of solutions support it natively.
Cons: Google Analytics is often blocked by browser/browser extension, whereas self-made solution is usually not detected by tracking blocker
Calixte B. · CTO · Computer Software · December 7, 2025
I use this tool regularly and it helps us analyze SEO and other marketing efforts across multiple clients. It also provides insights that we can use when developing new content strategies.
Pros: Google Analytics has still been able to deliver actionable data even as data restrictions have started to cap the amount of data we can receive. This tool remains critical for marketing and lead attribution.
Cons: The UI can be confusing and usually requires looking up ways to get the data that you are looking for.
David V. · Lead Developer · Information Technology and Services · November 15, 2025
Pros: It's a great place to see everything that's happening on your website. It's also very easy to set up an account and quickly see website interaction/conversion data.
Cons: It's not user friendly. You practically need to take a whole course on how to effectively use it or else it's impossible to understand what's going on.
Anonymous User · Performance Marketing Specialist · Legal Services · November 1, 2025
Much preferred the older UA before compared to GA4. The newer GA4 is not an improvement in any way whatsoever.
Pros: It's intuitive enough to use and get the data you need. Easy to learn and use and configurations and customizations are possible.
Cons: Universal Analytics was honestly much better. GA4 has not been great since it was in beta. Simple reports that could be pulled with UA before now require custom reports in GA4. Also a lot of the data in GA4 is sampled and you need to request unsampled data or get the data in BQ which is just a cash grab.
Ryan .. · Analytics Manager · Real Estate · October 20, 2025
Pros: Very strong analytics platform to measure our sites performance and data analysis of the traffic driven
Cons: There are no real limitations or issues with GA, there is an expected delay in data actualisation and ease of use
James K. · Manager · Marketing and Advertising · September 19, 2025
Overall the information is useful. Some simplification of the tools for the part time user would be really helpful. And perhaps a summary level of analytic data could be shared about all site visitors without revealing details on the actual individuals and their location or geodemographics.
Pros: It give more comprehensive information about web search through Google and generally online behaviour than any other tool available right now.
Cons: It is very complicated now, and hard to really understand what is going on, especially as there are gaps when web users choose not to share their information by opting out of Cookie tracking.

Positive and useful information but feel I could get more if I understood some fo the feautures better.
Pros: Google Analytics is my go to product to track web campaign success and website performance. Vital for our marketing
Cons: Very feature rich which can be confusing and the learning curve is high. Need experts to really get value from the information
Steve P. · Head of Sales · Commercial Real Estate · September 14, 2025
It's undeniably the most capable product out there for analytics out there, but if you're a small business or a solopreneur, it's too much, too fast. If you're stepping down from corporate into your own business, you'll probably be able to use this easily - and if you want to really come out of the gate swinging, this is a must-have skill to be competitive. But if you just want to focus on your product first, or your focus isn't a national scale, this would be a lot to take on.
Pros: The depth and customization are unmatched if you're serious about tracking customer behavior at scale, and the integrations with Google Ads, BigQuery, and other industry must haves is beyond anything else available. It's a great way to really focus in on how your customer is using your website, what's successfully drawing them in with your SEO, and how your big-picture looks through all these breadcrumbs of minutiuae.
Cons: It's very expensive and geared towards enterprise rather than individuals or small business. Its learning curve is very steep and, while you feel like you might just waltzed in and get all the data you ever wanted, you really have to work for it. Once you know what you're doing, it's beautiful, but the journey there is pricey and exhausting.

Google Analytics 360 provides accurate, reliable, and helpful insight for website management and SEO. Extremely helpful for SEO maximization and monitoring website traffic, trends, and audience demographic.
Pros: Google Analytics 360 has so many great features and reports that provide an in-depth understanding of your web traffic and audience, also providing analytics needed for optimized website management.
Cons: There could be more customization and personal settings that may better fit your needs for reporting and the dashboard.
Gabrielle T. · Brand Designer, Social Media and Marketing Manager · Consumer Services · August 20, 2025
Pros: Good reporting, especially gets more important in high-traffic sites where Google Analytics performed better
Cons: The UX, interface, and dashboard are not friendly. Hard to understand, make selections and not time-efficient
Anonymous User · Director and Marketing Consultant · Marketing and Advertising · August 1, 2025
We found it to be time consuming and of little value. We eventually discontinued all efforts to use the product.
Pros: Very little to like other than it is provided free. Some information offered did prompt us to try and improve our site.
Cons: It takes a considerable amount of time to properly manage / navigate the system. Google seems to keep changing the requirements and for a small business we can’t keep up.
Keith T. · Sales Manager · Hospitality · July 25, 2025
Having expert helps makes it a lot better, but even without the expert help Google has a lot of resources that are also useful. I highly recommend.
Pros: It’s gives us incredible insights of our Shopify store and our mobile app as well. It’s so industry standard I don’t know any business not using google analytics.
Cons: It’s has a deceptively simply looking interface for being such a huge and complex technology. The learning curve is very steep.
Isaac L. · Director of a sales and Business development · Consumer Goods · July 23, 2025
This has helped us see which campaigns are bringing in quality leads and how users pass down the initial funnel. We mostly use it for acquisition intelligence.
Pros: I like how its dependable. It’s really good for top level web metrics and plays nicely with our ad tools. Sampling is just way better in the app that in the dry browser.
Cons: It is not great for understanding user behavior within our product. You really have to put with with something more event-driven to really get a sense of it.
Miles H. · Product Analyst · Business Supplies and Equipment · July 21, 2025
Google Analytics been super useful for me since I finally figured out how to use it. We use it to track campaigns and it works more or less fine.
Pros: Mostly we use it to get some metadata on site visitors, just a quick look helps us figure out some kind of strategy for our campaigns. The data it gives gets used and kinda guides what we do.
Cons: I used to find it really hard to get into, but after all these years using it, it got real easy. Can’t really think of anything tricky now besides the first steps learning it.
Simon H. · Marketing Manager · Retail · July 7, 2025
Overall, it is and remains a valuable tool that is essential to understanding the performance of your website and business
Pros: I love how the tool allows you to track and discover so many unique insights about your customers and visitors to your website
Cons: I don't like the challenges GA 360 gives people when they want to make a connection to social media channels like Meta and TikTok
Duncan C. · Digital Solutions Lead · Marketing and Advertising · July 3, 2025
I use it every day to look at it myself and to present to clients so they can get a clear understanding of how what we do helps them.
Pros: I like how many different functions there are, and how you can customize the reports to show certain aspects of the data.
Cons: Sometimes it’s not always clear or helpful when determining where the problem is coming from when one occurs.
Lauren G. · Client Manager · Marketing and Advertising · June 25, 2025
It let us keep a close eye on user behavior who’s reading, who’s donating, who’s dropping off. That data informed how we currently operate consciousness campaigns and enhance the user experience on our site.
Pros: We rely on Analytics 360 to know which campaigns move the needle when it comes to engaging on any of our donation pages and on our educational content. If you check out our docs, the custom funnels and tying it back to BigQuery makes it incredibly more powerful than GA by itself.
Cons: The setup is time consuming, and you need to tag the right way. Smaller nonprofits might struggle with the full suite without tech help.
Wesley M. B. · Digital Communications Director · Non-Profit Organization Management · June 21, 2025
I use it to check the performance of my websites weekly, and overall it's a good experience - easy to use.
Pros: Google Analytics is a easy to use and user friendly app for creators and bloggers, with a simple dashboard.
Cons: Would appreciate an integration with Search Console and Adsense, while they look like three completely different things.
