We're very satisfied with Filecamp: easy to upload and share images at a low cost. It's safe, reliable and overall very user-friendly if you're not into very advanced features and only need the basics.
Pros: Ease of use: uploading and sharing images is very simple. In addition to folders you can create collections of images that are stored in separate folders. Very convenient to share images externally. Unfortunately other users can't see collections you've made unless you send a link to it.
Cons: Tagging, user and folder management could be better. A lot of it works by copying rights to other folders or users, but that makes it more difficult after a while to know which rights should be copied. It's also not always straightforward to understand who can see what. But there is a 'Login as' function so you can mimic another user to help with that. Finding images with a specific tag is difficult as there is no tag cloud to click tags. You have to know them by heart or be lucky that you hit on them while searching.

We have been using the filecamp platform for over a decade now and it has become an essential part of our workflow. The team enjoy using it as its so simple and never lets us down.
Pros: The platform is really intuitive and easy to use and its great that you can brand it as your own with easy customization options. This allows to share files in a professional manner with pur clients without having to use something like WeTransfer. The platform security has always been very robust and sharing files securely and privately is very straightforward.

Cons: It can be xpensive if you ahve a lot of storage and once you have a lot of folders to go through it can be difficult and time consuming finding where all the storage is used up. It also doesnt seem to get many updates but it is reliable and consistent.
Jonathan N. · Technology Director · Graphic Design · February 23, 2026
Overall, Filecamp has been a lifesaver when trying to manage document updates and share amongst a large group without risking security. I recommend this platform to everyone.
Pros: Easy version updates and secure sharing for large groups. The branding is customizable and provides a clean interface.
Cons: I don't have any complaints about using Filecamp, often it is my go-to to avoid problems faced by using other sharing platforms.
Anonymous User · People Coordinator · Non-Profit Organization Management · September 9, 2025
My overall experience with FileCamp has been excellent. The platform is very intuitive, which makes the learning curve simple for both our team and our clients, so no training or instructions are needed. File management is straightforward and logical, with clear folder structures that make it easy to stay organised. We also work with a lot of visual content, and being able to preview images and videos directly in FileCamp makes reviewing and sharing assets much easier. This asset management aspect adds real value compared to more basic file sharing tools. Overall, FileCamp has given us a secure, professional, and user-friendly way to manage and share files. It ticks all the boxes for our business needs and has been a great decision.
Pros: What I like most about FileCamp is how intuitive and professional it feels. It’s so easy for clients and colleagues to use that I never need to send instructions, which saves time and avoids confusion. The ability to customise the platform with our own colours and branding really sets it apart from generic drives, making everything look polished and on-brand. On top of that, the security features allow me to control exactly who has access to each file, which is essential for working with multiple clients.
Cons: There really isn't anything to dislike, we find it ticks all of the boxes. I suppose if it would be improved it would havea reporting module perhaps, but in all honesty that isn't what we use it for, and none of the competition has that.
Christopher D. · Head of Tech Solutions · Utilities · August 26, 2025
Pros: Filecamp is a great place to store and share documents with not only our internal team, but also company accounts and consumers.
Cons: The storage capacity fills up quick. I wish there was a capability to notify when a file and/or folder has been updated with new documents.
Victoria H. · Education Coordinator · Cosmetics · August 18, 2025
It's not often we integrate new software and everything feels seamless. Filecamp was like that. It has the solutions for what we require and does it all without lagging in one way or another. Lovely.
Pros: I use Filecamp to manage product approvals. It's simple to navigate and allows me to create easy access for external users. It's particularly good for image storage, providing clear tiles for a number of file types, and good search functions across the various meta data your images might have.
Cons: It would be nice if you could drag and drop files into other folders. The process of running through the folder system to move things is tedious.
Richard W. · Creative Manager · Apparel & Fashion · August 18, 2025
I highly recommend Filecamp for managing digital files, the solution for an incredibly seamless experience, and keeping your team connected.
Pros: I was searching for a hassle-free way to share and store files to make a long review short, Filecamp. I've found Filecamp's drag-and-drop interface make uploading files a cakewalk. Another big plus is security and ease of use. I can confidently say Filecamp is my perfect solution for file management.
Cons: Upgrades for the mobile app would give that same smooth feel experience as a desktop version would give a balance.
Kyeshuan H. · Ceo · Retail · February 5, 2025
Filecamp works well for centralising retail assets. It simplifies file sharing but needs a better search feature to save time.
Pros: Filecamp is great for organising product images and marketing materials. It keeps everything in one place, making it easy to share files with teams and vendors.
Cons: The search function is frustrating. Finding specific files takes longer than it should, especially when managing large volumes of assets.
Annie S. · Buyer · Retail · December 5, 2024
My overall experience with Filecamp has been outstanding. It has enhanced our team's workflow by simplifying how we manage and share digital assets. The platform's reliability and customer support have been excellent, making it a valuable tool for our business. I highly recommend Filecamp to any company in need of a flexible, cloud-based digital asset management solution.
Pros: What I like most about Filecamp is its simplicity and user-friendly interface. It's incredibly easy to organize, share, and collaborate on digital assets with teammates and clients. The customizable branding options are a huge plus, as they allow us to maintain a professional appearance when sharing assets externally. The search functionality is very robust, making it quick to find specific files, even when we’re managing a large volume of content. Overall, Filecamp has streamlined our asset management process and improved collaboration across teams.
Cons: I haven't encountered any issues worth mentioning. The platform works exactly as we need it to.

Katalina M. · Ing. Sistemas · Information Technology and Services · June 25, 2023
Over the three plus years we have been using Filecamp it has been great. We have not had any problems and has provided an economical solution for our business model.
Pros: Our Staff and users find it easy to use.
Cons: We love FileCamp our staff and customers have not found any difficulties.
Philip T. · ICT Manager · Industrial Automation · April 13, 2023
This is a great product for storing and managing files - our organisation uses it for images and other media content. It accommodates multiple users and allows sharing in a well-organised layout.
Pros: The product is easy to use and manage, with very little time needed to learn about the system. UX is very intuitive and files are well presented and organised. The AI tagging feature is pretty good.
Cons: It does have some issues with ease of use - for example you can't save files directly from an email or other program into Filecamp. Instead you have to save the files into Explorer and then into the site. The AI tagging option would also be greatly improved if you could apply it over all photos in one folder as well.
Helen C. · Project Officer · Environmental Services · April 13, 2023
We're in the process of moving our photos into Filecamp, and even though we have only a small number of our collection moved over and tagged, finding images in Filecamp is a dream. We're beginning to see what a huge timesaver it's going to be when all of our images are in and tagged.
Pros: The ability to tag files with keywords. As a small, nonprofit land conservation organization that relies on photos and imagery to help tell our stories and explain our work, having our photo collection organized and tagged for easy search-ability is very important.
Cons: I wish there was a setting that would allow the info panel to show/be open when viewing a photo without having to click on the dots and select it. I would also love it if you could apply tags and authors (or replicate them) to a folder of files (photos) or that you could select a set of files and apply tags to them as a group, rather than one at a time. For us, many of the tags we apply to photos apply to the whole folder, while a few files need some additional tags. If we could apply the bulk of the tags to all of the files and then go into the few photos that need unique tags, it would be great.
Stephanie W. · Communications Manager · Environmental Services · April 1, 2023
Fantastic. Everything I was looking for. Great software, and helpful team at Filecamp.
Pros: $79
Cons: I wish we didn't have to double-click a file for it to open. Changing to a single click would be nice. Also - it would be aesthetically pleasing for there to be an option to upload images on top of a sample file image for each file. I've been doing this manually be designing my own 'file' image, then uploading a logo on top.
Gabrielle M. · Marketing · Warehousing · March 6, 2023
Great to know our photos are safe online and available to all our colleagues wherever they may be. Great tagging and searching.
Pros: Love that it serves our photo management needs and allows multiple users for a decent price. A lot of other DAM tools had way more than we need and were also way too expensive. Filecamp was really alone in this category--the perfect capabilities/size/price for our non-profit. The ability to tag, share, make and create collections is great.
Cons: The file management is a bit annoying without drag-and-drop functionality--or even a menu where you can choose folders within the folder you're in--it slows down the process to have to drill down from the home folder each time I want to move assets.

Satisfies all or stored asset needs.
Pros: Ease of use. Variable data storage. Well laid out
Cons: None. I don't find any issues with Filecamp.
Andrew M. · Head of IT · Furniture · February 13, 2023
Pros: Permite encontrar documentos de manera muy facil.
Cons: No he encontrado nada que me disguste, ya que es muy dencillo
Miguel G. · QA Tester · Telecommunications · January 21, 2023
Pros: It is always fast, supports good concurrency but the best is the cost-quality ratio. All functionalities that a DAM must have, Filecamp fulfills them very well.
Cons: We would like it to be fully translated into Spanish.
Duvan A. · CEO · Information Technology and Services · January 3, 2023
Anonymous User · Marketing · E-Learning · December 7, 2022
Letting my customers download ebooks and video courses at any time.
Pros: The speed of uploading and downloading the files is more than decent. Never a blackout or problems in 2 years. Easy to navigate.
Cons: Previews of PDFs could be of better quality.

it helped to tremendously improve the process of planning in our office. the whole team and the clients get immediate access to up-to-date documents
Pros: easy and elegant appearance, corporate design, easy of use
Cons: user notification management is somehow confusing. I would welcome a central management for this issue
