Pros: Ability to handle various payment types and methods, ability to handle multiple currencies, easy to use.
Cons: I wish there was just one integrated application rather than a separate desktop and web application.

Overall, my experience with QuickBooks Online Advanced has been very positive. It’s a reliable, all-in-one platform that handles everything from day-to-day bookkeeping to more advanced financial reporting without needing multiple systems. Once you get past the initial learning curve, it becomes a huge time-saver
Pros: The ability to create custom reports, automate workflows, and handle large volumes of transactions efficiently is a big advantage for growing businesses.
Cons: QuickBooks Online Advanced can get expensive quickly, especially for small or mid-sized businesses that may not fully use all of its features. The pricing jump from lower-tier plans is noticeable, and some essential tools are locked behind this higher tier.

My overrall experience is good and QuikBooks Online Advance is highly valuable for managing complex finances, though it has a steeper learning curve, higher costs, and occasional performance lags compared to lower-tier plans.
Pros: For its robust scalability and efficiency tools, specifically superior custom fields, batch invoicing, and automated workflows that save time.
Cons: My least liked aspects of QuickBooks Online Advanced are its high monthly cost, steep learning curve, and limited functionality compared to the desktop version.

About the overall experience with QuickBooks is good manual data entry problems have need resolved e.g. earlier we require entering invoices and expenses one by one. Also advance QuickBooks offers customizable dashboards, KPIs and trend analysis,
Pros: The most thing about QuickBooks online advance is its bookmark features you add bookmarks for reports, entries and subledger and save the processing time
Cons: I dislike that QuickBooks online advance is still primarily desktop-based. Also, for remote teams, there often needs to be workarounds like hosting services to access files, which adds cost and complexity.

it's been good now that we understand it - easy to use, connects with our bank account and our practice management software
Pros: It makes it easy for our accountant, bookeeper etc. to see the same thing, connects with our practice management software, etc.
Cons: takes some time to learn so there was a learning curve and we had to jump through some hoops to get up and running

Overall things have been fine and have gotten better for the most part. I cannot really complain but I do wish we had better customer service.
Pros: It gets my invoices done and accurately processes the payroll with no issues. I don't have issues with balancing the balance sheet anymore.
Cons: I do not like their customer service. They are not the best and quite honestly most places aren't anymore so this is a typical matter for me.

Quickbookds Online Advanced is an excellent tool that we use everyday in our business and have had success integrating it into other software we use on a daily basis.
Pros: Quickbooks online is an amazing tool for samll and big business models. It keeps track of all needed financials within your business. Easy to use and an affordable price.
Cons: Quick books can seem complicated and very in depth so it can be daunting at first but once you use it a few times you can get the hang of it quickly.
Hallye N. · Operations Manager · Mechanical or Industrial Engineering · March 6, 2026
Keeping the books feels a lot easier with QuickBooks. It smoothly connects to bank accounts, organizes expenses, and pulls together reports without much hassle, which makes staying on top of finances far less stressful.
Pros: Keeping track of money feels a lot easier when the numbers update themselves, bills get sent out automatically, and you can see where everything stands at a glance. It also connects with plenty of other tools, so tax season and day‑to‑day planning don’t feel like a scramble.
Cons: It can take a while to figure out all the features, and the monthly fees start to add up. Every now and then, reports don’t quite match what you expect, or bank connections act up, which can be frustrating if you’re on a deadline.
Shayne T. · Co owner · Construction · February 25, 2026
I find it easy to use across the board and makes tax season fast and fool proof. Love using it and would recommend
Pros: Very easy to create invoices, collect payments and keep all my finances organized in one location. Love it!
Cons: Just the monthly cost at times - in slower months I feel the pinch a but but overall it is on par with other services.

Features like custom workflow automation like scheduled reminders and auto-recurring tasks save time and reduce manual work.
Pros: QuickBooks Online Advanced gives you more capacity and automation than the lower-tier QuickBooks plans.
Cons: QuickBooks Online Advanced is significantly more expensive than Plus and some competitors, which can be tough for cash-tight businesses.

This is a good price for the value that is offered. I haven't been able to find this combination of value and price in another off the shelf program.
Pros: The ease and speed of invoicing and payments has streamlined a good amount of 'busy work". The connection to other small businesses using the same platform has also streamlined uploading new vendors and customers.
Cons: Some of the reports that I was used to in the desktop version were hard to replicate. With the online support I was able to find most of what I needed.
lia B. · Finance · Museums and Institutions · January 19, 2026
Pros: QuickBooks online advance integrated seamlessly with our operating software and makes it easy to track income. Value for the money is definitely worth it.
Cons: There can sometimes be duplicate orders between our software and QuickBooks online advance but that’s rare
Sean C. · Owner · Automotive · January 13, 2026
Pros: It has advanced features for invoicing and sending automatic invoice reminders to clients. It provides full financial transaction reports in time.
Cons: It's customers support team is friendly and professional to level thst issue are handled systematically hence no disagreement with this tool.

Overall it has been easy to get used to and learn. My advice is to take your time and take advantage of the online tutorials they offer. Some of the videos are super helpful.
Pros: I wasn’t familiar with the product at all but it was easy to use and intuitive. I also really appreciated the customer support helpline. The agents were efficient and the wait time was brief.
Cons: There are a lot of features and it was a bit overwhelming at first. Some functions are embedded in different categories watching a tutorial was very helpful.
Mary B. · CFO · Investment Management · December 3, 2025
Overall we appreciate the software and the multiple features that streamlines our bookkeeping and business reports.
Pros: Intergrated employee hours with payroll, streamlines our payroll process and reduces any opportunity for errors.
Cons: The one frustrating and time consuming void is in the payroll - it does not easily track and enter Canadian statutory holidays.
Colleen M. · Owner and Designer · Construction · November 29, 2025
Overall I’d like another option. I feel like QuickBooks is a monopoly and as a small business there is no other option.
Pros: I actually do not like that it is really the only option most accountants will work with. It sort of gets the job done.
Cons: It is not user friendly. It is difficult to navigate. Does not connect with all tax entities as needed in Texas.

Great experience, QB is one of my favorite accounting solutions at an affordable price. QB offers so much more than what we use it for, its great for small and large biz.
Pros: QuickBooks is easy to use and can help any business grow. We used it for accounting purposes and making payments. My favorite feature was the payment processing and sending links for easy and quick payments. We linked our QB account to a CRM where we would invoice and record the payments. It was great to keep track or everything. As far as processing transactions, they offer the best value per transaction. One other thing I also like about QB is the customer support anytime you need help, literally any time you have a question they are only a call away or you can chat with a representative.
Cons: Very few times I had issues with it syncing to our CRM program (Acculynx). Sometimes we had issues with clients recording over to QB and payments entered into QB recording over to Acculynx. We called customer service and they were very helpful getting everything set up again.

Overall I will be using QBs for my clients and my businesses. It's nice that it integrates with so many other softwares.
Pros: I enjoy that Quick Books online is very intuitive and how smooth it is to operate. The fact that it's cloud based makes it easy for teams.
Cons: I don't like that the app on my desktop is super slow. It's not the desktop QBs version but the online version and I still have that issue.
Jaxton B. · Accountant · Construction · November 19, 2025
We have used the online in the past and just transitioned over to the desktop version, but we are keen to both applications.
Pros: Ease of Use - the entering and inputs of invoices, receipts, and other paperwork is relatively easy to input into the system
Cons: Sometimes, it is slow with the server that we used provided by Amazon, but there seem to be no bugs or other issues like that, so just the speed problems here and there.
Parker S. · Accounts and Operations Coordinator · Construction · November 17, 2025
Great , overall I am happy with this tool, it helped me to manage my clients payroll and increased the department efficiency level.
Pros: Efficient, clear, simple structured and easy to manage. Also its a great tool to integrate with other software.
Cons: It freezes often, when I am updating new employee's information and when I restart it does not save.
Luka T. · Payroll Manager · Accounting · November 8, 2025
It has been average with a number of problems experinced over the last few years, some which have taken a long time to resolve.
Pros: It has been a great advancement from using manual excel sheets. It is great for sending out invoices to my customers and asking them to pay online via paypal.
Cons: I most dislike their integration with Gocardless since it has caused us a lot of problems, although QB were quick to accept fault and offer compensation. The online payment fees through paypal is expensive.
Richard O. · Owner and Director · Computer Software · November 6, 2025
very good for the most part. it is easy to use and easy to teach people to use. transaction flow in nicely from bank accounts
Pros: easy to use and to get our client on board with it. Getting access to client books is easier now being able to work from anywhere is very nice
Cons: the cost has gone up a lot over the last few years and trying to bill that back to clients gets tougher
joyelle s. · accounting administrator · Accounting · October 22, 2025
I do like it. The batch automation and real-time data are so valuable to any business. I personally felt it was too big for me. |I could definitely see how it would benefit a company larger than mine.
Pros: It has more features than the basic versions, like batch invoicing and enhanced workflow automation, that suits larger companies.
Cons: More features means more learning, although Quick Books do provide the training. It can be overwhelming to slot into your current business.
Carolyne M. · Owner · Publishing · October 11, 2025
It was a rough start at first, but with the help of my supervisor and QuickBooks Online help staff we manage to get the help we needed every time we need it.
Pros: It gets the job done. I am able to keep track of expenses, look up deposits and reconcile bank accounts with ease.
Cons: I am still learning some of the aspects of how to use it since I am new. I feel like there is so much that QuickBooks has to offer and and I want to learn about them to make sure I am utilizing it all.
Kathleen D. · Assistant Director of Finance · Non-Profit Organization Management · October 9, 2025
I put in too much effort to put it together with our legacy QB Desktop data only to find out it lacked the capabilities we really needed.
Pros: It has potential, I love the idea of being able to access a system online instead of error prone .QBW files of legacy QuickBooks Enterprise (Desktop)
Cons: Unfortunately, key features like 'Memorized Transactions' are not ported over... and there's no easy way to move our hundreds of Memorized Transactions to repeatable processes on the QBO Platform. Which makes it almost useless.
