Deltek Vision

Pros: Deltek vision is what we use to record timesheet, check information needed for accounting coding and invoicing. It’s a valuable resource for tracking employee time and work records.

Cons: Deltek vision appears to be a bit outdated. This includes the user interface, the login process and sometimes it takes long to load.

Pros: It is a serious improvement from the Delek version we have previously used. Ease of use and better visuals are the highlights.

Cons: All the issues I have had up until now has been based on user familiarity. Locating project codes and assigning to the correct headings was the issue.

Pros: i liked that it integrated time tracking with project managmenet

Cons: it was not very user friendly from everything from search to the userface

Pros: I was a complete system. We could open opportunity, make it a project, use it enter time (Time-sheet), track invoicing & payment, apply leave and many more.

Cons: It was a bit older software. therefore, user interface some time looks older & not attractive.

Pros: I liked the integration between each facet of the program. It reminds me of SAP in that information entered in one module is carried through to others.

Cons: The interface in Deltek Vision is clunky. The functionality is there, but the refresh time is slow, and autofill options that you think would be automatic are not present. For instance navigating to a page does not automatically set your cursor to the first entry cell in the page.

Pros: I enjoy the features and the easy access of Deltek Vision.

Cons: Nothing, it is easy to use and has good quality.

Pros: The resources for a project can shared equally to each and every task using deltek vision

Cons: Limitation of deltek vision integrating to many other apps to ease performance

Pros: It's exemplary to it's detailed reports for effective compliance and forecasting.

Cons: Great for time and expense tracking for employees.

Pros: Deltek Vision readily does its job, just as it should. IT can be a bit clunky at times, but its a simple program.

Cons: The program can often be a bit clunky, often taking more time to do simple tasks than other programs, but overall, its an extremely great software overall

Pros: There's nothing I really like in this software

Cons: Old interface Not intuitive It glitches all the time

Pros: Our firm has customized our version of Vision to the point where it does everything we need it to do in a much more efficient way. The way we can organize our pursuits, projects, and clients is streamlined.

Cons: I think there are some classifications and fields that we could use that speak to other databases within Vision. Being able to link certain items easier would be nice.

Pros: I think the safety aspect of this software has been really well done.

Cons: the lack of an assai version is really political

Pros: Able to document time worked. Also the ability to use different codes for vacation time.

Cons: It’s not automatically documented. Have to manually out time it with codes

Pros: Organization and visualization capabilities

Cons: Not modernized at all, seems like it’s running through an early 2000’s model

Pros: I don’t have anything to like except that i have to use it.

Cons: It’s not easy to used — UX and UI can be better; crash a lot.

Pros: I have learnt recently how to use deltek. It is a software with everything on it to calculate fees and scheduling resources.

Cons: It needs a very good training to be able to use it. It has bugs and sometimes crashes. You need to insert all fields otherwise you do not get the wanted outcomes. It is not so intuitive.

Pros: Great resource for keeping tabs on project data/business development/customer database for All clients. Haven’t delved into the project management components myself, but hear that they are pretty good too.

Cons: For a software to support the architecture world I am floored at how ugly and dated the interface looks. We have some architects who think it looks too ugly and refuse to use it which is a massive headache. Would love to see it get a redesign or face lift. Also it’s difficult to see longer project names - they get cut off in the scroll view. Pulling reports isn’t super intuitive either

Pros: i found it easy to use. even though this software was way too complex for our company . i found if you use it to the max ,its a great product

Cons: help desk is quite complex. and having a third party for training became quite costly

Pros: What we have found most useful in Vision is Time Entry to specific projects and the resulting monthend billing. It is a seamless process.

Cons: The project Management module is geared towards bigger projects than we work on. Would be nice to see a scaled back version for a firm of our size.

Pros: Deltek is very flexible in terms of building timesheet with different projects and hours. The smallest hour unit I know is 0.5 which is very good! It allows me to report a more real time spend.

Cons: Sometimes it is hard to find a certain project if I only know half of the name and not the beginning.

Pros: I have been using Deltek Vision for over 9 years. It works great. I use it every day to keep my working hours/timesheets up to date.

Cons: The only issue I have with it is that to have full capabilities access you need to open the application in Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer. You can open it up using Chrome or Firefox but the options are bit limited to only timesheets and not project management.
