Pros: It worked well for functions, convenients and user friendly. They are good to work with when setting it up and asking about features. But,
Cons: When asking for a credit for their mistakes they will issue a credit but then charge you the same amount next day. Also, when canceling they say they will cancel but not take action and charge you for another month of service and refuse to credit the account.

Overall I am grateful to Ooma. Our previous phone system was down for almost two weeks with no solution in site, and Ooma came to our rescue. The phones were shipped overnight and we were up and running quickly. We were able to set up so quickly because these phones are VERY BASIC. If you need robust features, this is not for you. We now do about 40% of our communications with patients via text and this was not something we could do with Ooma. It's a fact that a lot of people don't want to talk on the phone anymore so for us it's important to meet people where they are. Ooma served its purpose for a while but now we have moved on into the 21st century.
Pros: The product is well priced, I felt like it was overall a good value. We used another internet phone provider in the past which was a disaster, constant outages cost us tens of thousands in lost opportunities, so were worried about stability after that poor experience, but Ooma phones were very reliable with very few outages during our time using the product. Support is easy to reach but sometimes you have to hang up and call back because not everyone in the support department knows what they are doing.

Cons: The phones are not at all sophisticated and were not really suited to our needs despite me being very specific about the features I needed. I ended up finding the "best" fit (still not great) by trial and error because there is no one there to give guidance on these things. At least they have a good exchange policy. The dashboard interface is outdated and clunky, making setting up a new phone tedious and time-consuming. There is no integrated SMS or there was not at the time.

I have used Ooma Office for several years, and it has been pretty reliable and the service works well. There was only one day in the several years using it that my phones went down, but it is because I use older Cisco phones that are no longer offered.
Pros: It is a better value compared to my local phone company to have multiple phone lines, and they make it easy to manage them on their portal. The features are pretty customizeable as well. It doesn't take much to figure out how to use the portal to setup your account as well.
Cons: They still charge a full $20 if you just need a line for a fax machine that doesn't have any other calling features needed.

As a small business it was horrible. We lost business as we never had working phones. We were not able to access voicemails left by patients, patients with emergency troubles on top of that. The customer services representatives if you can even get ahold of any mostly say it is your problem not theirs. A lot of excuses more than correction.
Pros: The only good experience we had was with the sales representative. The idea of their services was great but that is were it ended.
Cons: We had their services for 2 months. Were never able to use the devices sent out by them. Were told at one point that an engineer "washed his hands of our troubles." Got charged a substantial amount for cancelling services, services that never worked!

We are currently looking for another provider as the quality of service is no longer acceptable.
Pros: The features were exactly what we needed when we signed up.
Cons: The service and support have severely suffered in the last few months. Calls will stop working during business hours and you cannot reach anyone with support

Ooma Office is good, I continue to use it for ease of use, but if they raise my prices, I will be shopping around.
Pros: Ooma office was very easy to implement, with a simple online interface to control everything from.
Cons: The quality of the calls was not always very consistent. Some calls I was unable to hear the other person on the line when they were local and on a hardline. Further, the lack of usable internet on their platform was a short term challenge. For the price, I would expect more.

I have a very satisfactory experience using Ooma Office.
Pros: It makes it very easy to keep a record of calls made/recieved.
Cons: There is nothing in particular that I dislike, however sometimes it can be easy to miss a notification.

Paying bills, adding lines were easy but the product overpromised and underdelivered.
Pros: Ooma did let us consolidate phone service among different sites in one easy to manage dashboard.
Cons: The VOIP phone service was extremely glitchy, leaving clients unable to reach our team to manage their schedules on more than several occasions over the time period in which we used the product. Very frustrating.
Rachel P. · Physical Therapist operations manager · Hospital & Health Care · November 15, 2024
very good - easy administration - responsive customer service
Pros: full communications stack with fair pricing
Cons: can sometimes be a little glitchy - what comms platform isn't though
Joseph B. · President · Marketing and Advertising · October 17, 2024
$7b
Pros: The only thing that I think Ooma office was fair in was the price they charged monthly compared to their competitors.
Cons: $7c

Overall a good experience. Customer service is always helpful
Pros: The app which allows you to make calls from your desktop anywhere in the world
Cons: Voicemail doesn't always record or transcribe properly
Tom G. · Travel consultant · Retail · October 15, 2024
We operate 2 companies from the same location with Ooma we have a second / separate "receptionist" for the two companies. Gives us a professional first impression for every caller. People comment on the choice of music on hold.
Pros: Answer the call in the office or on the APP, same great quality. Never miss a call.
Cons: The basic service "pro" service have vastly different features. A mid range upgrade from basic would be a useful for a company that isn't yet a "pro" level.

Excellent service at a good price, what a business model requires
Pros: Quality of service and customer satisfaction
Cons: None , but it would be nice to incorporate some additional information regarding AI
Mustafa A. · Physician · Hospital & Health Care · October 11, 2024
Ooma has provided quality and reliable calling for my business. The Ooma Businesss app on my iPhone lets me call from the office from anywhere. It's awesome!
Pros: Ooma Office saved me a bundle compared to what Verizon was charging me and give me many more options like the app and plethora of phone features and virtual assistant.
Cons: Ooma depends on our internet connection which could be more reliable. This is less a concern with Ooma than our internet provider
Stephanie S. · President · Computer & Network Security · October 11, 2024
Pros: Easy to use with lots of features/addons
Cons: Internet is needed for it to work. You can be offline during outages.
Eajaz Z. · Operations · Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing · October 11, 2024
Still on the fence. Unless they can give me reliable phone service I may be looking for alternatives.
Pros: The price is great and you can customize the features you need.
Cons: The service was lacking. Our phone has been losing internet connection repeatedly and even though our internet speed/latency is beyond what Ooma requires, they still tried to blame the issues on my internet connection (and even told my staff that a jitter time of 1ms should be 5ms, even though the fact is a lower jitter number is desirable not higher).
Sohrab S. · Dentist · Medical Practice · September 24, 2024
Their sales team was very persistent and informative. Set up was simple once we got around to doing it. However, we have had to contact customer support, several times due to device issues. Good news is that their customer support is very responsive. But there are still a few minor issues have not been resolved.
Pros: It’s about half price of our prior provider. And, it is very intuitive to set up those who know how to operate technology.
Cons: For some reason, we don’t get an alert notification on the phone itself when there’s A voicemail. We’ve had several glitches with the phones eg. Call Park that we had to contact customer support for. Customer support was very helpful. Most of the issues have been resolved. They required a firmware update. Hopefully we can get the rest of the minor issues resolved soon.

There is nothing positive I can say about Ooma. They issued me a phone number that didn't work and I spent so many hours trying to correct. They wouldn't credit the bill for the time the phone line didn't work despite initially agreeing to issue the credit. It is impossible to get anything fixed or even to understand the issue. They bill more than the agreed upon costs. They mailed the phone to the wrong address and when I asked them to confirm the address they lied and said they confirmed it with UPS. They sent the wrong phone of a much lessor value and utility. Ooma makes AT&T and xfinity look like they have first rate customer service in comparison.
Pros: The best thing about Ooma was leaving Ooma to another phone company.
Cons: $7d

Pros: I love how Ooma will integrate with my Google Contacts, call recording is crucial and voicemail to email transcribed has been a game changer. Best of all is he phone app so you can make and receive calls and texts ont he go.
Cons: There is nothing no to like, I have been recommending Ooma to people for years and they love it too!
Allen E. · President · Health, Wellness and Fitness · March 24, 2024
My overall experience with Ooma Office has been fantastic!!!! I don't have anything to complain about!!!! The options for the product are absolutely amazing, and the customer service is excellent!!!!!
Pros: I love the customer service the best!!!! They are always on top of their game, and willing to go above and beyond to help you out!!!!!
Cons: Honestly, there isn't anything I don't like about this product!!!!
MARY C. · Office Manager · Hospital & Health Care · February 15, 2024
Pros: The price and functionality. Phone number option with 800 numbner.
Cons: The customer service is horrible. The sales reps lie and make promises with no intention of keeping them. I've referred two clients who currently use the service. I was never compensated for the referral. Even after following up with sales, I never received a callback or response to my email concerning the referral fee.

not bad but just did not had features I needed
Pros: easy to use and can be used on cell, computer and physical phone
Cons: didnt had many call center features that are needed for big amount of calls
Henry M. · office supervisor · Medical Practice · January 31, 2024
Excellent. I get calls offering to change phone systems and supplier but out cost is so low they can't compete.
Pros: It's simple and works good. Voice mail works well.
Cons: Don't have any. I have a UPS set up so the phone and internet connection works even when the power goes out for short periods.
Robert S. · President · Wholesale · January 31, 2024
Call quality is great and the system is easy to use. Have a lot of included options in the system and you can have both an ATA and desk phone on the same ext.
Pros: Have had many years and have only seen one outage in 5+ Years We have been using it. The outage was fixed in less than an hour so did not impact us much. Very helpful staff and a great price for business looking for a easy to use system with all the features.
Cons: Locked out of phone settings so if you are looking for changing phone wallpaper there is no option to do this on the phones.
David B. · CEO · Security and Investigations · January 31, 2024
It is not bad. some customer service reps are not too knowledgeable, but for the most, if you get a knowledgeable one, it is an easy fix. My only issue is when I change phones it is hard to get them running from the last one.
Pros: The price when I was starting new was affordable
Cons: when the internet is down phones are down.
