My overall experience with Seismic was positive. For hosting approved content, sharing assets and tracking engagement, it did the job well and gave more visibility than simply sending files or links manually. It feels best suited to larger teams that need control, version management and reporting around sales content. For lighter use, it can feel more complex than necessary.
Pros: I mainly used Seismic for hosting, sharing and tracking sales and marketing content, and that side of the platform worked well. It was useful to have approved assets in 1 place, share them easily and see how people engaged with the content. The tracking was one of the most useful parts, especially being able to understand which materials were opened and viewed. Seismic also positions this buyer engagement tracking as a core part of its content management platform
Cons: Seismic can feel quite heavy if you’re only using it for content hosting and tracking. It has a lot of functionality, but not all of it is needed for a simpler use case. The platform also depends on good content organisation and admin management. If folders, permissions and versions aren’t maintained well, it can become harder to find what you need quickly.

Overall, I’ve had a good experience with Seismic. It provides a centralized place for managing and sharing content, which makes workflows more efficient. Once familiar with the platform, it becomes a valuable tool for quickly finding and distributing materials, though it can take some time to learn the system at the beginning.

Pros: What I liked most about Seismic is its centralized content management and ease of use. It helps keep all sales and marketing materials organized in one platform, making it quick to find the right content and share it with clients. The search function and personalization features are especially helpful for improving productivity.
Cons: What I liked least about Seismic is that it can sometimes feel a bit slow or unintuitive when trying to locate specific content, especially if it’s not clearly labeled or organized.

Overall, a decent experience. It makes a convenient way to share sales materials. How much does it help me win? I'm not sure.
Pros: I like that you can easily assemble a digital sales room to share content for prospects without making threads of content that gets lost.
Cons: I do not like the UI. It's clunky but getting better with enhancements like dropping files in straight from your computer.

I am glad the Team did not have to guess what the sales pitch would be, since the Methodology is there now. I can obtain my Certifications from home and avoid my commute which is nice. Since the Brand Information is actually in the System, I can now Convert Customers better.
Pros: My laptop fans are screaming right now, however at least the dashboard showed I got an 81 in product knowledge, therefore I did not completely fail. The coaching rooms allow all of my material in one area, so this is okay. I found that the AI features are working so far without crashing. I can rewatch the video if I missed something the first time and I can pickup were I left off.
Cons: The loading times for the larger modules are honestly terrible and I spend most of the time staring at a blank screen as my coffee grows cold. Why does it take so many clicks to go from the Feed to the Coaching Rooms?

I love that all the tools I need as a Content Creator are available in this software and it make creating content super easy
Pros: As a content creator, I love the learning curve and the customer support is really helpful. I love that I can manage my documents and it is true value for money
Cons: If anything I would say the search function was a bit of a challenge but as I said with the customer support, I was able to understand it quickly,

My overall experience with Seismic has been exceptional. We got the value for money on the platform because it does everything we want. From creating onboarding courses/training material, keeping and storing most of our organisational assets and collaborating with clients and partners. It’s very easy customising everything on Seismic and it saves a lot of our time because you can easily search for assets when you need them and it’s very quick to get results. I love the platform and I enjoy using it because it makes my life a lot easier.
Pros: I love Seismic because it has helped me and my team with managing assets and training for new members on our team. It has helped us create and design learning journeys and onboarding courses for all our reps and has given us a central repository for most of our organisational assets. It has also help us collaborate with customers and partners through creating experiences and repositories we need fore collaboration with the parties mentioned. It’s also easier to find information with Seismic as you can easily and quickly search for assets. I also love how easy it is to customise works spaces and assets in Seismic, making it easier for collaboration and differentiation between assets and workspaces
Cons: I haven’t seen any cons yet on Seismic. Everything is exactly how we expected it to be and we have all the functionality we needed when looking for a tool similar to what Seismic does

Overall, I would highly recommend Seismic for business insights. The application makes finding internal documents and workspaces easy and user friendly
Pros: Seismic is very user friendly and make navigating business documents a breeze. I can find all of my educational materials in one convenient space. The application is also easy to customize/
Cons: The only con of Seismic that I can find is that sometimes it can be difficult to navigate the dashboards.

I think it’s been a great tool to use overall. I use it at least weekly to find documents that have been used in the past to inform new versions of similar letters.
Pros: Seismic is a great tool to organize documents based on whatever factors work best for you. It also is a great way to share documents across departments and even external partners.
Cons: Sometimes the interface can look a little cluttered once you get enough documents in there. You can organize pretty well, but it’s still just a bunch of folders and documents adamant a white background. Can be overwhelming sometimes.

Our experience was the classic "over-promise during sales" and "under-deliver on execution." We had to scrap the implementation after a year. We had been forced to sign a 3-year contract upfront (bad sign!!), and then Seismic refused any accommodation and didn't take any responsibility for the failure. They charged us 2 years of license fees to cancel the 3-year contract. This was especially offensive after they had billed us every hour of support time for the implementation on top of the license fees. This was a major lesson learned - don't ever pay in full upfront and don't work with companies who use glitzy, high-pressure sales approaches.
Pros: The promise of Seismic was good: Allow us to solve our content management challenge and automate our proposal generation. It didn't work though.
Cons: Seismic turned out to be too complex and cumbersome for our team to implement effectively, and it became clear that the software would not actually help solve our content management problem.

Pros: All-in-one center, enabling a user to access data and decks in a simple manner. Visually appealing interface, allowing easy navigation throughout Seismic.
Cons: Can feel convoluted in the beginning as there is a learning curve, but can be improved through regular usage.
Philip L. · Investment Databases · Financial Services · March 11, 2025
I’ve used Seismic as part of our my engagement with a vendor at work. It’s very user friendly and allows searching and collating documents very easy. The repository itself is efficient and fast to index as well as nimble to locate related documentation.
Pros: Very easy to navigate and find the relevant documents. The indexing works well and is very convenient to group together the documents.
Cons: The interface can be a bit more modern and crisp - that’s just a nitpick

Integrating Seismic with our marketing efforts has enabled us to keep track of all customer journeys. Seismic’s data has enabled us to better sort customers, and prepare new targeted campaigns that fit their needs.
Pros: I liked the simplicity of Seismic, it provides a colorful display of data and graphs. Seismic’s detailed breakdown of the content and achievements of each marketing channel independently is great, it allows us to learn a lot and keep comparing between channels and understand the differences better. I liked how Seismic allows us to delve deeper into the details of any marketing channel to know the actual conversion volume, and extract comprehensive data that shows how successful or unsuccessful it is in motivating customers. I liked Seismic LiveDocs, which is very special for automating reporting and collaboration.
Cons: Seismic connects directly to our multiple channels, collects data, and updates it automatically without errors.

Overall, this product has been a wonderful addition to my client support efforts. While the backend organization and internal capabilities can be a bit clunky, the streamlined user experience and valuable engagement insights make it well worth it.
Pros: One significant benefit of Seismic is the activity updates it provides. When users log in and view the attached content, I can see what specific parts of the content they are engaging with. This real-time insight has greatly improved my client relationship management, as I can easily understand what my clients are interested in.
Cons: It can be challenging to keep back-end content organized on the platform, and I often struggle to find the content I'm searching for given the platform's layout

Very happy with Seismic and how it helps our business grow
Pros: Seismic allows our company to quickly create personalized content to send to our clients.
Cons: Little bit of a learning curve but it’s not bad at all.
Andrew S. · Manager · Banking · September 24, 2024
Overall, Seismic is great. I have not used many content creation or knowledge management tools like this, but Seismic has significantly and positively impacted my team and has paramount to our knowledge management success.
Pros: Not only does it allow you to create content, but I love the ability to add multiple choice, matching choices, and other question/answer selections to test the assignee's knowledge after they complete the lesson. It's like taking Google forms but an upgraded version and building it right into the lesson, which is great!
Cons: What I struggle the most when creating new lessons in Seismic is the inability to add pictures directly in the middle of a text box. Sometimes I want to insert a graph or picture without having to break the text box up and create a second text box.
Rachel C. · Customer Support Lead · Real Estate · June 24, 2024
Pros: Seismics a great tool for cross-functional document sharing. We use it company-wide, changing permissions between teams, to allow everyone to access important documentation that'll help them in their roles. For example, I work in marketing but my content is incredibly important for sales enablement. I store it all on Seismic so the sales team have a one stop shop to find anything they need, without having to ask me for it.
Cons: It's not an incredibly intuitive platform. I'd also like it if it sent reminders for approvals as a lot of the time, documents need to go through a string of stakeholders for approval before publishing, but these stakeholders forget. It'd be great if it sent nudge alerts to these stakeholders after X amount of hours.

Pros: This is by far the best LMS system. There are many options to customize and make the experience interactive
Cons: Although the final product is worth it, it takes considerable time to build out the right way.
Brendan T. · Training and Development Coordinator · Computer Software · December 4, 2023
Pros: Good way to sync Sales teams to relevant content to help with their enablement.
Cons: A bit hard to find content in a standardized way. Wish it was easier to pull analytics.
Rebecca J. · Sr Manager · Information Technology and Services · November 9, 2023
Pros: It was a solid tool for what I needed to use it for.
Cons: A lot to learn, it was ok but my company stopped using it after 8 months.
Justin D. · Consulting · Human Resources · November 6, 2023
Seismic has brought an unparalleled level of smoothness to our training processes, providing quick solutions to the challenges we encounter. This, in turn, has led to performance improvements and heightened operational efficiency.
Pros: The seamless setup and configuration of Seismic's features have significantly enhanced our capacity to boost the efficiency of all team members. I particularly appreciate how Seismic facilitates ongoing feedback exchange among team members, fostering a perpetual sense of readiness. This collaborative effort transcends limitations and promotes the dissemination of knowledge. It's truly remarkable that we've been able to create and deliver advanced, distinctive training content, all thanks to the robust features Seismic offers, ensuring the continuous evaluation of our operations.
Cons: I encountered no difficulties with Seismic; it seamlessly integrates into our core system, enabling us to execute tasks with ease.
Jenny B. · Sales Office Manager · Mining & Metals · September 26, 2023
Pros: The integration with Salesforce is really useful so the sales reps can send the documentation to the potential clients just with a few clicks.
Cons: The UI design is a little bit old fashioned.
Alex V. · Digital Marketing Strategist · Financial Services · June 22, 2023
Negative. My client will cancel their subscription to Seismic, and I fully endorse that decision. Waste of money.
Pros: Seismic works well as a database. If all you want is a strict CMS used by marketing, but not necessarily for customer-facing delivery of content then Seismic is quite good.
Cons: Seismic is really, really bad when it comes to enabling sellers to create relevant, timely, and valuable messaging for customers. The micro-site / digital sales room functionality is extremely weak. Customers do not engage. Highspot is much better in this regard... which isn't difficult.
Ben E. · Owner · Publishing · June 12, 2023
Amazing tool.
Pros: Seismic is a wonderful resource to store a vast array of sales enablement. It makes searching and storing documents easy. It has enabled my company to learn more.
Cons: I wish the search feature picked up on more key words so that you could refine the results better.
Mackenzie D. · Sales · Information Technology and Services · January 25, 2023
Really great, we have everything we need handy for our daily work.
Pros: Can contain a lot of resources and documents, and have these easily and conveniently classified
Cons: Can contain so many documents that it really needs strong content managers to put the right key words and classify correctly. It can also sometimes seem very extensive in terms of content so needs to be used and used to understand how it works.
Emily W. · Deal Consulting Manager · Leisure, Travel & Tourism · January 4, 2023
Pros: Document generation is easy, LiveDocs are a very useful feature
Cons: Reporting can be better, analytics too. Giving accesses is hard.
