Nifty helps small businesses manage multiple projects with customizable task views and real-time updates. It’s most used by marketing, IT, and support teams that rely on daily collaboration. Reviewers highlight its planning flexibility and visual layout, though mobile access and reporting are common drawbacks. Recent updates, such as Orbit AI and custom automations improve setup speed and workflow control.

A complete solution from the moment you acquire the program; we complete tasks on time with less effort.
Pros: The platform has everything I need to manage my clients; every purchase, every order, every project is handled ingeniously with excellent internal communication results to deliver a good product to our clients.
Cons: Exporting customized reports. I need to check the new version, but I couldn't do it with the previous one.

Overall, I love Nifty and so do my clients. My clients really enjopy being able to log in and see the progress of the projects and to be able to communicate with me on any portion of the system, be it a task, general chats, or a file.
Pros: The ease of use and features set. Nifty has a lot of advanced features, but the way they're implemented makes it easy to master them quickly.
Cons: At first it was the Milestones. I couldn't get them to work for me the way I thought they should, but once I learned the way Nifty has set them up to be used, they started clicking for me.

We were a very high maintenance client for several years, needing a lot of support from the Nifty team, Sky in particular. Our use case is somewhat atypical, so many of the project and template buildouts have needed significant adaptation. The Nifty team has always been extremely supportive, responsive, and clear. We have identified many bugs and gaps over the years as we've grown with Nifty, and they've always resolved them quickly, or given us workarounds if they aren't prioritizing that fix at the moment.
Pros: I have a complex organizational structure with 300 employees, many volunteers and contractors, and over 65 departments, all of which need privacy between and among portfolios, but easy transfer of tasks and files between projects and portfolios. When selecting Nifty in 2020, we found that it was the only project management software that met all of our security and privacy needs. Because of this, I'm able for the first time to get a big picture of the activity and progress of all of my teams.
Cons: The learning curve, particularly for less tech savvy employees, has been quite high, and at times prohibitive for adoption. Adoption for stragglers has therefore taken 5+ years. However, those who do adopt it use it really consistently, and I'm able to manage those projects with essentially full visibility.

Overall, Nifty has helped me manage large projects that I wouldn't be able to handle without the app. I'm able to scale with little effort so I'm very happy with the software.
Pros: I'm a fractional marketing consultant. I've been using Nifty for about two years now. The best thing about the software is that I can create complex project management projects with it and share the projects with clients. It's so simple to use that I don't have to teach clients how to work with me within the software. It makes team communication a cinch. That alone makes it worth the money.
Cons: Nifty is a powerful tool but the mobile app could be better. Other than that, I don't have any complaints about Nifty.

Overall, I'm a big fan of Nifty. I previously used Ora and LOVE it, but they were acquired and will be shutting down soon, so I switched. I tried other platforms (Monday, ClickUp, etc) but Nifty just *works* with the way my brain is organized.
Pros: One thing I like most about Nifty is how it combines so many tools right in one. And I can even embed other tools to further extend what it can do.
Cons: One thing I *don't* like is that I can only have one tab of a project open at at time - for example, if I need to get info from a Doc, I have to click over to Docs, but then to update a Todo, I have to leave the Doc and open the Todos.

Overall I've been happy with the Nifty implementation - we have been using it since my company started 6 years ago and we haven't considered switching platforms.
Pros: As a startup founder with a small team that moves fast, I love Nifty's all-in-one approach for team and project management. It is much less expensive but more functional than other PM solutions.
Cons: I wish it had reply functionality in the chat, and that GIFs and emoji reactions worked better in the mobile version.

Overall, my experience with Nifty has been very positive, and it’s become a dependable backbone for how we plan and execute work in the business. We still use other tools, but Nifty is where we organize tasks, track progress, share files around specific projects, and keep team communication focused. Once we got past the initial setup and learning curve, it actually reduced confusion and made it easier for everyone to know what they should be working on. The team behind Nifty is responsive, ships regular updates, and has been quick to address questions or suggestions, which gives me confidence to keep expanding how we use it.
Pros: I run a small business with a lot of moving parts, and Nifty has become the main place where we track tasks, deadlines, and goals throughout the year. The task management is flexible enough to handle everything from one-off to recurring work, and it’s easy to see who owns what and what’s falling behind. The built-in chat and comments help keep conversations tied to tasks instead of lost in email threads, and file sharing inside projects makes it simple to attach the right documents where they’re needed. I also appreciate that they take security seriously and continually improve the platform without bloating it with gimmicks, which makes it very good value for the money.
Cons: The main drawback is the learning curve, simply because there are so many ways to set things up and so many features to discover. It took some time to design a workspace that fit how my small team actually works day to day. My biggest early frustration was with Nifty Docs, which felt basic compared to the rest of the platform and lacked version control and document locking, so I chose not to use them much. I shared that feedback with their team, and they’re working on adding those features now, which should make Docs much more useful for things like listing notes and internal procedures that I want to protect.

Overall, Nifty delivers a smooth and reliable project management experience. It strikes a nice balance between structure and simplicity, making it a great option for teams that want clarity, collaboration, and momentum without unnecessary complexity.
Pros: The interface is clean and intuitive, making it easy for teams to get started quickly. Tasks, timelines, and conversations live in one place, which reduces tool switching and keeps projects organized without feeling overwhelming.
Cons: Reporting and advanced customization are fairly limited. For very complex projects or data-heavy teams, it may feel a bit lightweight compared to more enterprise-focused tools.

Great! Out of most team platforms this has been my favorite. I find it easy to keep my team on track and monitor progress with different departments.
Pros: I love the easy to use platform and how I can create different folders and groups to keep my team organized.
Cons: I don’t like how tasks are organized and the notifications. It is easy for certain projects and tasks to get lost and fall though the cracks.
Madeline B. · Director of Nutrition · Health, Wellness and Fitness · August 4, 2025
It has been a great experience. The free version allows you to do plenty of tasks before you decide to buy, which is a good feature of this application.
Pros: Nifty helped me organize a construction project that I worked on and helped me visualize the main milestone and tasks associated with it. During my experience, I used most of the tools in the free version, which was complete. The paid versions allow you to add more features to complement your management.
Cons: At the time I used it, I found it hard to have a macro view of all the tasks, meaning I had to make some tricks in order to get what I wanted, and also had to check some extra videos for that.

Nifty functions as a comprehensive solution that centralizes task management, project development tracking, and our teams' communication, all within a single workspace. It allows our teams to adapt to different work methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, through visual boards that can be customized according to project needs. Additionally, it offers Gantt charts for detailed sprint planning and software development lifecycle.
Pros: Nifty combines task management, project tracking, and communication tools in one place. It supports methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban with customizable boards. Gantt charts for sprint planning and software development.
Cons: I have not identified any disadvantages in using this platform.

Having an entire team working on a single objective helps speed up all processes and provide more professional tools for productivity.
Pros: What I really love about Nifty is being able to unify an entire team in the same process, with the same data, the same information, on the same platform, and with the same goal. I can plan each process in a very organized and detailed manner to focus all the work on a single objective. Seeing its development helps me and my colleagues know how it's progressing and how it's being developed. We don't have to navigate through multiple applications where information can be lost or distorted. In Nifty, everything is united and helps ensure everything is unified and improves performance.
Cons: Its updates can take a bit of time to execute, which is the only thing I would improve.

Overall I found that Nifty is a must-have tool for project management. The ease of staying on track with time and priority focus is second to none. I find that the milestone tracker keeps the stakeholders happy.
Pros: The functionality is superb. It is also very productive as it integrates well with third-party tools like Slack. The ability to collaborate on documents inside the platform is key for teams. I love the integrated AI.
Cons: There was not much to dislike concerning Nifty, yet it has been a small concern when running into bugs or issues with file recovery.

I like it. It allows me to communicate on the discussion button about tasks.
Pros: I like how I can use the app or the desktop version. I like the "tasks," "discussions" and "files" buttons.
Cons: Sometimes I have had difficulty sending an image.
Melissa M. · English Specialist · Education Management · February 1, 2025
Pros: One of its best features is the ability to combine task management, time tracking, and team communication all in one platform.
Cons: customization options are relatively basic, so for teams with complex workflows or unique needs, it may feel restrictive.
Vishal J. · Senior executive · Consumer Services · November 9, 2024
It was very easy to use, easy to navigate
Pros: Easy to use working smoothly and fun to work with
Cons: Having to search for certain items and the time it t takes for them to come up

I moved to Nifty when Trello changed its pricing and I have loved it! I have a large team with many remote volunteers so Nifty provides the perfect platform to keep all of their work organized.
Pros: I love that I have the options for kanban style boards. I find those so easy to use and organize my projects. I also love that I can invite unlimited members at no extra cost.
Cons: I don't like the fact that on mobile you cannot drag the cards to the next board like you can on desktop.
Skyler R. · Executive Director · Online Media · October 18, 2024
Like the clean and intuitive interface and the task management is flexible and easy to use.
Pros: Ability to track tasks with customizations to the workflows that aligns with members of team.
Cons: A con is limited reporting capabilities that makes it a bit more difficult to analyze data.
Peggie W. · Account Resolution Analyst · Health, Wellness and Fitness · October 11, 2024
Pros: Nifty is flexible and can be adapted easily to every business use case.
Cons: I am not a huge fan of per member payment, even though niftys price is fair and low.
Rémy G. · COO · Consumer Goods · September 18, 2024
Nifty was ok for us, except for team members access.
Pros: Nifty was fine for me to use, and the general layout good to work with. Client access feature is good.
Cons: Several team members had difficulty accessing Nifty even though they had been added as part of the team.
Tim O. · Project Manager · Maritime · August 4, 2024
With Nifty, the knowledge base has become available to all members, and the transfer and documentation of updates has become continuous at all times.
Pros: Nifty has everything I need to organize my daily workflow and build a knowledge base that supports continuous updates. I love the ease of creating lists and collecting data through them. I love looking at the dashboard that keeps me constantly updated with colleagues about everything new and achieves quick response to any requests. It is great that with Nifty we have automated dashboards that reflect updates directly and can be used to provide a live display of the level of progress and clarify many statistics at any time. I love the ease of adopting Nifty as an effective means of communication that enables me to reduce the movement between applications and complete more than one task from one station.
Cons: Nifty is easy to use, I just need more freedom to customize some reports or ready-made templates, to appear in a way that is completely suitable for our needs.
Nermeen M. · Digital Project Manager · Information Technology and Services · July 30, 2024
Pros: Nifty offers users many added features for project management, including but not limited to team collaboration, scheduling across multiple projects simultaneously and financial reporting for budgeting purposes.
Cons: Nifty should consider the option to add more templates for enhanced reporting purposes and project goals. Therefore, various users needs would be met to prevent shortfalls in accomplishing goals.
Asha V. · Beauty Specialist · Health, Wellness and Fitness · July 13, 2024
My overall experience would have to be a 9/10
Pros: I love how eady it was to set up and get started took liitle effort.
Cons: I cant really say there was anything i could point 2 that i woukd say i disliked about Nifty.
Carlos P. · Owner · Management Consulting · July 8, 2024
Over all its good experience but today there are lots of tools in market which is better then this. but i got lifetime deal at $600 so that is plus point that i am still using it.
Pros: There are lots of good project management tool but the main problem is chat with team and project management, nifty has both in one place. so its best tool at the moment when i buy it.
Cons: there are still lots if issues, bugs, and system downtime also notification is not working properly. so they need to improve it.
Anonymous User · CEO · Computer Software · July 2, 2024
Pros: Nifty is really competitively priced and has a lot of features for small and larger businesses. The UI is easy to navigate and it has a dedicated desktop app so you don't need to have yet another tab open in your browser. There's a generous free plan for people who don't have complex needs or just want to try it out, but the subscription cost isn't excessive for full features.
Cons: I'm a beginner with using Nifty, and although there are a lot of FAQ guides which cater to many different use cases, it still takes time to figure out exactly how to set everything up. Once everything is up and running, though, it works well.
