Overall my experience with 8x8 has been a good one. I've been able to navigate through the system, and no major issues have raised any red flags.
Pros: 8x8 is great for our phone system. They get the job done and whenever we need to have a conference call between the office, we are able to do so.
Cons: I do not like the voicemail feature, it often cuts off my voicemails and will not let the voicemail completely finish.

Good but there are better options out there. The regular software updates and bug fixes from 8x8 are a definite benefit.
Pros: In my experience the floating mini-view is useful for desktop users and helps when navigating other systems whilst on calls
Cons: Lag times on calls affects customer experience. Also the recorded calls don't have call sentiment and analytics to match competitor software.

Pros: Amazing our company have used it for years. Amazing way to record costumers and keep a trqck off all conversation.
Cons: We had an update a few weeks ago which made it nit usable for a few days. Luckuly it was fixed by 8x8 service team.

We have multiple offices and stakeholders across the world, and with remote working, this is so much easier than giving people desk phones or mobiles.
Pros: I am able to easily make UK and international calls with great quality audio.
Cons: I often have to redownload it when it disappears from my computer but that's probably our system rather than the software itself.

Pros: We use 8x8 as the phone system. At the corporate level (where I am), we have 8x8 on our computers, and we do not need desktop phones (it's all through the computer), which is nice.
Cons: I frequently miss calls due to no notification popping up (I am sure this is a setting I need to change and not an actual con).

It was easy to install and easy to begin using immediately.
Pros: I liked the closed caption for video since I have a hearing impairment and often have a hard time undertsanding others on calls and video meetings.
Cons: The service seems to have gotten a bit choppy over the last year. Calls only come through about 80% of the time and voicemails take a long time to show up.

We have used 8x8 for several years. We purchased around 10 deskphones originally and later switched to just using the PC app on our computers. The phone service was reliable although expensive.
Pros: My favorite thing about 8x8 work is their desktop app that you can download to your PC or mobile device. You can make and receive calls from the app and even text message.
Cons: 8x8 is expensive compared to other VOIP software.

8x8 is very robust , it packs an all feature experience with self supporting features to configure. Rarely have to call in for support which is good.
Pros: I like the self service portal and admin dashboard. All the tools and features are available for you to configure.
Cons: The menu hamburger bar has a lot of features that you need to get familiar with. Sometimes finding the right menu can be difficult to find.

I just watched the training video, so i have not had the opportunity to use it. But I do like the features highlighted. Even the ability to switch a call from the PC to a cell phone.
Pros: Have not used it yet. looking forward to using presence, and quiet hours.
Cons: I wish it were standard with 8x8. I am not sure if this is going to cost more to use / implement. It does solve some of the pain points we have been experiencing between TEAMS and calls from 8x8 interrupting live TEAMS calls / meetings.

From my first contact with 8x8 I was helped to understand the product and its benefits. Once I signed up 8x8 took care of porting my work number to the system and setting up my personal line and a line for our fax (fax calls to that number are routed to our 800 fax number). I got our automated attendant going well and added a PLT headset I purchased online, but had trouble setting up the fax. 8x8 help jumped in and coached me to complete the setup.
Pros: Price and features, especially Automated Attendant, additional fax line, automatic call forwarding to my cell if I'm away from my desk, and the Caller Popup Window, which enables me to display customer order info on my monitor as soon as the call comes in with minimal effort.
Cons: I'm pretty satisfied but often lose calls when they are transferred to my cell and caller disconnects before I can answer the call.

The admin area was a bit hard to setup the users and phones, but Customer Service was VERY helpful.
Pros: I like being able to answer my work phone through the app when I am not in the office.
Cons: I would love it if voicemails left for me could be translated into written words, so I wouldn't have to listen to them if I don't really need to. I would also like the ability to delete the voicemail from the written word notification or email, however it is delivered.

Overall my organization is very happy with 8x8. It gets the job done at an affordable price, which is perfect for my small team.
Pros: The text function is gamechanging versus our previous provider. As a nonprofit, it is nice to have the ability to use this as a "personal work" number that people can call/text without having to share my real personal number.
Cons: The most difficult thing about 8x8 is the fact that we cannot text groups. We would love the ability to group program participants into a single message.
