Drag-and-drop editor and reusable templates make it easy to design professional emails without needing deep HTML skills. Features like A/B testing, dynamic content, and predictive engagement ensure that every email is optimized for performance. Whether it’s a one-time campaign or a recurring newsletter, Email Studio gives us full control over design, delivery, and analytics. Journey Builder where is all about orchestrating customer journeys across channels, allows us to design automated, multi-channel customer journeys — meaning we can deliver the right message, at the right time, through the right channel.
Pros: Undoubtly the best tool for communication with clients. The main modules we've been using such as Email Studio, Journey Builder with Automation Studio, Contact Builder, and Web Studio enable us to manage data, design campaigns, and automate customer journeys at scale.
Cons: What I least like about SalesForce Marketing Cloud is logg off time out which is by my personal opinion extremely short.

I must say that this could have to do with the way it was set up in my company
Pros: The tool has a lot of potential but many things that make it non user friendly
Cons: I hate that contacts and accounts cannot be deleted and reports are not the best.

Great. I have used it for over 10 years.
Pros: I like that I am able to tag opportunities.
Cons: Not every version is the same. I wish all versions allowed for lead assignment and lead conversion.
Gina R. · Events Coordinator · Computer & Network Security · April 10, 2025
Pros: It's fully integrated into our CRM used between our internal sales and external vendors.
Cons: It's not intuitive enough to compete with office 365 or Google platform.

I really enjoy working in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement. This is something that I've used consistently now for over a year and absolutely love it!
Pros: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement is a clean, enterprise level product that does a great job!
Cons: The price can seem a little high based on some of the industry competitors.

ITS SO PERFECT. VERY EASY TO USE, CONVENIENT, CAN EASILY UPDATE INFORMATION.
Pros: It's quite different; it would be hard to fake extensive experience. You could learn how to send emails and make lists in a couple hours, but learning how to put it all together took me months. There's also no sandboxes to learn on and I personally could not have done it on just the Trailheads. Although the Trailheads might get you to the point of being able to talk about general functionality.
Cons: EVERYTHING, SALESFORCE IS VERY CONVENIENT TO USE.

Pros: I really like the ability to have a granular data for each and every customer we have.
Cons: I do not like the complexit of the interface which leads to different unintended sections.
Ipek Nil B. · Sales Marketing Specialist · Environmental Services · May 7, 2024
Pros: The contacts and customer database personally is a very valuable tool for us for client outreach and pipeline management.
Cons: Requires a decent level f training for new starters as some parts of the system are not the most intuitive to use.

Pros: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement gives us value for money because it has impressive capabilities. I like the ease of use of Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement. Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement is simple to deploy.
Cons: No cons for Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement. Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement meets our expectations.

Pros: workflow of pardot and marketing cloud is very simple and easy to understand after figuring it out. Would love to see more features.
Cons: Structure and organization of tools is okay, could be more user friendly and easier to navigate
Viktor C. · Marketing specialist · Marketing and Advertising · April 4, 2024
Pros: It’s a very good tool to manage leads and to have a clear visibility on the pipe.
Cons: It’s not really easy to use for beginners
Lucie L. · Content manager · Computer Software · April 1, 2024
Pros: You can build everything you dream of in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. The Journey module is amazing and Automation Studio is very powerful. Rest assure, you will be able to build any user story.
Cons: Ver expensive. It's not just the tool, but the launch, implementation, and Salesforce partner (or an in-house team of 4-5 experts) to get the most of the tool. Not for new or small companies that can't afford a learning curve of 4-6 months to launch and keep the Salesforce partner or dedicated in-house team to implementation and maintenance.

Very positive we have encouraged other offices to adopt this platform
Pros: For a company that communicates with clients and leads primarily via email this platform has changed the game for productivity and delivering personalized emails
Cons: Always a learning curve when adapting to new software programs but saleforce team was hands on to smooth the transition
Melanie K. · Business development manager · Marketing and Advertising · March 26, 2024
Pros: It was great fining it to a easey way to find want u needed
Cons: Sometimes it was hard for y get in touch with customer serivce
Jennifer M. · Event specilaist · Events Services · March 25, 2024
Massive post-sale cognitive dissonance - not saying Hubspot is better, but I'm really regretting this purchase
Pros: Robust, customizable system with many features
Cons: Byzantine and near to no onboarding - we have had it for 3 months with no clear onboarding process - all we get area bunch of random links from our sales executives and sale support - They do a great with their Sales CRM , but fail miserably with their Pardot/Account Engagement
Andreas P. · Marketing Director · Machinery · March 13, 2024
Pros: The sales team could click in their CRM sales page to see the last email sent
Cons: Validations - if you didn’t create custom objects for your form data it was a mess
Lindsey Raye P. · Email Marketing Specialist · Entertainment · February 15, 2024
Pros: Smooth integration with Salesforce. Works fast enough
Cons: Pricing is not competitive when you look at other options available on the market (not SF appexchange) The other things might be solved with other more expensive packages, but Pardot is already expensive) Not possible to set local time of receiver when you send emails. All of them go out at once Not possible to send emails based on user behavior (also the time when they are sent) No tracking of email forwards Poor responsiveness of pages you can create through internal tools (for example to track unsubscribe reasons)
Yurii M. · Marketing Director · Information Technology and Services · February 2, 2024
Pros: Could potentially be clear to learn, holds a lot of data, seemingly has a lot of functionality
Cons: We didn't know we were paying for a "white glove" service, simply because no one reached out to us. That is - until we informed them we were thinking of leaving them and they tried to collect $8K in invoices that were supposedly unpaid over the course of 3 YEARS, yet no one knew anything. No one informed any active admins of the outstanding balance. No one shut off our access. Only when we were leaving due to non performance did they try to collect on a service we were not getting nor using
Samantha O. · Admin Manager · Non-Profit Organization Management · January 22, 2024
Pros: There is a huge amount of customization and automation that you can do with the Marketing Cloud. And it's connected in with Salesforce, so it can be used to generate new Leads, update Salesforce records, and automate tasks.
Cons: It can be clunky to set up the customer databases and connect the corresponding fields between Salesforce & Marketing Cloud.

Salesforce Marketing cloud est très important pour la commercialisation
Pros: Salesforce Marketing cloud est un logiciel très efficace pour la vente
Cons: Salesforce Marketing cloud est un logiciel incontournable du sein de mon entreprise
Expedit A. · Responsable adjoint · Import and Export · November 21, 2023
It is an essential tool that, although costly, is necessary to grow and scale.
Pros: It allows us to gather, segment and target leads all in one place.
Cons: Onboarding was lengthy and some staff found it difficult to grasp to begin with.
Liam H. · Marketing Manager · Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing · November 13, 2023
Pros: C’est une plateforme basée sur le CRM et qui permet aux équipes de vente et de marketing de travailler ensemble.
Cons: Cette plateforme est très simple et facile à utiliser mais je trouve que son coût est un peu trop élevé
Alandra L. · Assistante · Computer & Network Security · November 5, 2023
My overall experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) has been positive, as it has enabled us to efficiently manage and personalize our marketing efforts, resulting in improved customer engagement and lead generation.
Pros: I really appreciated how Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) allowed me to easily create and automate personalized marketing campaigns that significantly improved our customer engagement and conversion rates.
Cons: I found that the user interface of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (formerly known as Pardot) could be a bit complex and not as intuitive as I would have liked.
Anonymous User · Marketing Operations Manager · Computer Software · November 1, 2023
Pros: I like the Journey Builder - it gives us a lot of options, we can easily make segments and target people, and it's visually pleasing. The Intelligence reports are very good and very significant. It helps us to track data, and have a overview of KPIs.
Cons: The platform can be very slow, bugs are often, the interface looks old, it's not easy to navigate like in Sales or Service Cloud. Even simple thing need to be done in complex way. The platform needs improvement.
Kristina R. · Marketing Cloud Administrator · Media Production · November 1, 2023
