I have had a really good experience since starting to use ClickUp in October 2025. I came from a role which had never used a system like this and after a few weeks it all felt very natural to use. I used customer support once and got an answer i was after straight away too.
Pros: I like how seamless it works between desktop, mobile and tablet. I also like how I can set tasks for people and have different views for field staff, invoicing etc. Depending on the view only suitable information is displayed without information overload.
Cons: That some of the ClickUp AI features aren't standard. I really liked the automatic notetaker which recorded and gave a summary of notes even when i wasn't active in the meeting. It would go on my behalf.

After getting past the initial overwhelm of all that is within the app, the use cases and versatility are quite deep. Overall, I loved using the app and felt like it could be a game changer for a team or solo company.
Pros: This is seriously one that would be enjoyable to open every day. An all-encompassing tool that prevents context switching at a price that is more than affordable. Click Up also has a great and responsive customer service, even though they are designed for teams they worked very intentially with me who is just a solo business owner.

I love CU. I find it to be better than other softwares ive used and it also has so many used too. Worth every penny
Pros: I love the variety of things you can do on CU like taking notes, creating polls and questionnaires, managing employees
Cons: I don’t like how somethings that are changed on CU affect other things and it’s not very straightforward when you make those changes

Pros: I really like the AI-assisted chatbot that helps me to summarize tasks, track project updates, and find tasks that are duplicates and stuck.
Cons: The vast number of features, menus, and buttons can make the platform difficult to learn and overwhelming to set up sometimes.
Jerry L. · Lead Project Manager · Computer Software · May 6, 2026
We use ClickUp as our central hub for project collaboration and operational follow up across teams. It combines tasks, docs, dashboards, automations, and team communication in one place, which reduces tool sprawl and improves visibility. The biggest value is flexibility: you can adapt lists, views, and custom fields to match different workflows (support, projects, recurring operations, and more), while keeping everything connected.
Pros: Extremely flexible for different teams and processes (projects, support, ops) Strong project and team collaboration: comments, @mentions, docs, shared views Great visibility with multiple views (List, Board, Calendar, Gantt, Timeline) Automations reduce manual admin and improve consistency Good reporting options via dashboards and custom fields Centralizes work that would otherwise be split across many tools
Cons: Learning curve for new users because the platform is very feature rich Requires governance and standards (statuses, custom fields, naming) to stay clean Some configuration choices can feel complex (permissions, automations, views) Performance can depend on workspace size and how much customization is used Notifications can become noisy until properly tuned

I wouldn't put it among the very top-rated work management tools but it's still a really good tool to use
Pros: I love how customisable it is; it makes it very easy to adapt it to various workflows or structures.
Cons: The interface is still quite overwhelming, and it usually slows down a little; I'm guessing it might be due to some unresolved bugs.

Overall, we like ClickUp and it is a great all in one platform that is highly versatile to our needs.
Pros: I use ClickUp's free version - it is perfect for my small team managment team of 12 directors. We like that is is very customizable to our needs.
Cons: In the beginning it took some of users a few weeks to get a full understanding of how they wanted to use ClickUp.
Christy L. · Director of Human Resources · Education Management · April 29, 2026
I use this everyday at work and it seems to keep me very organized. There is also a free version that works quite well.
Pros: I love the KanBan board. It’s so easy to use and track your tasks. It also allows you to be very detailed about the task and assign people to.
Cons: It works the best on a computer not so much on an iPad due to spacing on the screen. It’s sometimes hard to scroll down with a touch screen.
Michael K. · Manager · Mining & Metals · April 27, 2026
It turned out to be the backbone of our companies campaigning process. Automation of the process manages the repetitive handoffs among the team members and collaboration tools make projects move forward without necessarily having to check-in with team members to sustain the momentum.
Pros: The presence of campaign work, team work, calendar due dates and process automations all in a single location eliminated the coordination overhead that was silently consuming our real creative work each and every week.
Cons: The amount of features is twice as much during the initial stages. To bring our entire marketing team to a unified understanding of how to use it was more orderly than I had originally intended.
Sakshi M. · Digital Marketing Specialist · Marketing and Advertising · April 27, 2026
ClickUp transformed my billing cycle management at Kilarys. The repetitive reminders are automated through process automation and the collaboration tools ensure that finance and operations are synchronized without the need to go back and forth all the time.
Pros: Being able to see my calendar across billing deadlines, team assignments in a single location allows me to no longer lose track of where things are mid-month without having to hunt everyone down to find out the status.
Cons: It has a lot of features, and it can be overwhelming at first. Honestly, it took us longer to get our finance team comfortable than the set up itself.
Frank R. · Billing Specialist · Luxury Goods & Jewelry · April 26, 2026
My experience with ClickUp has been very good. It has many useful features that make it easy to manage tasks, track projects, and work with a team. At first, it takes a little time to understand, but once you get used to it, it becomes simple to use. Features like task tracking, filters, and Ask AI are very helpful. Overall, it makes project management easier and more organized.
Pros: I like its simple design and project separation. Its filters make it easy to track any project efficiently. Integration with multiple software tools is straightforward and easy to understand. The Ask AI feature makes it very easy to modify and narrate content, and bug reporting and tracking are simple with a clean, user-friendly design. The alert system with calendar settings is also effective. Ask AI offers good value for money and helps teams collaborate more easily.
Cons: While ClickUp has many features, it can feel a bit confusing at first, especially for new users. The interface sometimes looks crowded because there are too many options. It can also become slow when working on large projects or many tasks at once. Some features and integrations take time to understand and use properly.

The entire company uses ClickUp now. We moved different teams from different tools (Trello, Basecamp, Google spreadsheets, etc) years ago and combined everything into ClickUp, which brought all teams to the same platform, which is easier for cross-team training and consistency across the company. ClickUp is also easy to use, easy to train new users, easy to customize, and serves all different needs from different departments across the company. Their customer support team is also excellent. Any time we needed support, they were available and helpful.
Pros: ClickUp is extremely easy to use and adaptable to different needs. Since we have multiple (distinct) departments with very unique needs and processes, we like the fact that we can customize pretty much anything (custom fields, custom statuses, custom structure/hierarchy), etc. This also makes project collaboration a lot easier. Now, with AI and automations, we're taking our project management to the next level.
Cons: Some features and update requests take months to be implemented by their development team, and sometimes, upvoted features are never considered.
Erica C. · VP of Creative · Marketing and Advertising · April 23, 2026
I love it. I was put on to it when I was a VA. And I switched from notion. I love how everything connects together, and how you can keep everything in one place. I love the native automations too. It helps me a lot and how you can customize ClickUp to how you work.
Pros: I love using ClickUp to manage my business. This is how I keep track of everything from clients, content, projects, collaborations, meal planning etc
Cons: The only thing is the difference when using it on an iPad. It wouldn’t save what I wrote in a task description
Sabre B. · Systems Strategist · Internet · April 22, 2026
Works great for my needs. And I am using it as our task management tool for two apps, a backend api, and five other projects.
Pros: It is free! And not only that, but ClickUp is easy to use with a short learning curve. It offers multiple projects in one view, lists, and tasks etc.
Cons: The application obscurely uses AI is various ways that are hard to understand. And then it gets you to try to pay for the service based on the AI tasks being over the free threshold.
Christopher R. · Director · Information Technology and Services · April 19, 2026

Overall, my experience with ClickUp has been good. It’s a powerful all-in-one productivity tool that works well for managing complex projects and teams. However, it takes time to learn and set up properly. Once configured, it becomes a very efficient system for organizing work and improving productivity.
Pros: ClickUp offers a wide range of features in one platform, including task management, time tracking, docs, and goal setting. It’s highly customizable, allowing me to organize my workflow exactly how I want. I also like the different views (list, board, calendar), which make it flexible for different types of projects.
Cons: The platform can feel overwhelming at first due to the number of features. It has a learning curve, especially for new users. Sometimes the app can be slow or laggy, particularly on large projects, and some advanced features are only available in paid plans.
MARWA B. · Designer · Design · April 18, 2026
Overall, ClickUp is a good tool, but it can be hit or miss depending on how well it is set up. It is a powerful all in one tool for managing tasks, working on projects with others, coordinating teams automations processes and making plans. When set up correctly, it makes things a lot easier to find, work together, and get things done by keeping everything in one place. But at first it can be hard to handle because it has so many feature and set up workflows correctly. Some users may also notice that their computer runs slowly from time to time or that advanced customization and automation are little hard to understand
Pros: People like ClickUp because it puts tasks documents, chats and project tracking all in one place, so they don't need to use more than one tools. It very adaptable letting teams change workflows as needed and its collaboration tools make sure everyone is on the same page. People also like its reporting and make it easier to see how work is going. It is a great value of money compared to other similar tools and it help teams jeep all their work in one place.
Cons: Users don't like that ClickUp can be hard to use and overwhelming because it has so many feature and ways to customize it. It often has a learning curve, especially foe new users who just want something simple. others say that their performance isn't good, like when big projects take a long time to load. Sometimes, customer supports isn't set up right advanced feature like automation and setup can be hard to understand.

I would definitely recomend this product to teams looking for a way to organize and assign tasks to team members.
Pros: I have used Click Up for a few years now with my team and it has been a great addition to our workflow. It is an easy way to assign and monitor tasks with my team who works remotely. The notifications are helpful and the layout is user friendly.
Cons: Sometimes there are some things that don’t load well but overall it is nice. There is a pop up about updating sometimes that doesnt always work correctly.
Mallory A. · Director of Operations · Marketing and Advertising · April 16, 2026
It’s a powerful all-in-one tool for managing tasks and projects efficiently. While the interface can feel overwhelming at first, it becomes much easier to use over time and helps improve productivity.
Pros: Flexibility, you can customize it to fit your workflow and manage everything in one place instead of using multiple tools.
Cons: It can feel overwhelming at first the interface has a lot of features. It can also be slightly slow or buggy at times, especially with larger workspaces.
Ibrahim A. · Admin · Marketing and Advertising · April 15, 2026
Overall, ClickUp has been a core part of how we operate and scale. It’s not perfect, but the flexibility and customization far outweigh the downsides. If you’re willing to invest time upfront in building the right structure, it can replace multiple tools and significantly improve team alignment and execution. That said, it’s not a “plug and play” solution—you need someone who understands systems and workflows to really get the most out of it. For growing teams or agencies managing multiple clients, it’s one of the better options out there.
Pros: ClickUp is one of the most flexible project management tools I’ve used. It allows us to build systems that actually match how our team works vs. forcing us into a rigid structure. We use it across multiple clients and internal workflows, and the ability to customize views, statuses, and task organization is a huge win. It’s especially strong for fast-moving teams that need visibility across a lot of moving pieces—everything from high-level strategy to day-to-day execution can live in one place. When set up correctly, it becomes a true operational hub.
Cons: Two main issues: Lack of subfolders — this becomes a real limitation as you scale more complex client or project structures. You end up having to hack organization in ways that aren’t always intuitive. Stability after major updates — every time ClickUp rolls out a large update, there tend to be bugs that can disrupt daily workflow. For teams relying on it as a core system, even small issues can slow things down.
Jen P. · Director · Marketing and Advertising · April 14, 2026
ClickUp replaced a few tools for us and mostly delivered on that promise. Once people get past the learning curve it sticks, and the customization options mean it adapts to how your team actually works rather than the other way around.
Pros: Flexible enough to work for different teams without forcing everyone into the same workflow. Task management and collaboration features are solid, and the automations save real time once you get them set up properly.
Cons: Can feel overwhelming at first with how many options there are. Performance occasionally lags with larger workspaces and the mobile app still has some rough edges.
Nabil N. · IT Manager · Computer Software · April 14, 2026
ClickUp saves time and cost by automating most manual tasks. It has solid dashboard that tracks KPIs to enhance operation efficiency and increase quality production. It eliminates bottlenecks that affects workflows with effective report on project progress using visual charts.
Pros: With ClickUp I am able to organize workflows within the enterprise. It provides real-time data analytics from tasks to enhance effective development. It is easy to setup and customize to suit enterprise demands.
Cons: ClickUp is excellent and the performance has leveraged production from most departments. The few challenges that I have experienced have been resolved quickly by customer support team.
Patricia L. · Operations Manager · Hospitality · April 12, 2026
We moved away from it. Not because it's a bad product, it just never fully clicked for our team. The flexibility that makes it powerful also makes it easy to set up poorly and hard to enforce consistency across users. If you have someone dedicated to maintaining the workspace it probably works great. If you don't, it quietly becomes a mess.
Pros: Flexible enough to fit almost any workflow, which is both the appeal and the problem. Task management, docs, goals, and calendar all in one place looks great on paper. The customization options are genuinely impressive and it's affordable relative to what it offers.
Cons: Too many features working against each other. The interface is overwhelming and onboarding new team members takes longer than it should.
Anonymous User · Sr Manager, Digital Marketing · Marketing and Advertising · April 10, 2026
We began using ClickUp years ago and now I can't think of how I handled all our tasks for our maintenance people without it. It's basically my partner that sends out work orders, keeps me up to date with what was done and what was missed, and has every option you can think of for keeping track of issues.
Pros: ClickUp keeps our Operations department humming and organized. Every task I think of goes into ClickUp whether it's a one time task or a recurring one.
Cons: Sometimes I think it's TOO powerful. Haha. It has so many options for how you handle task management, it's sometimes overwhelming. But I think that's actually a good thing.
Chris G. · Director of Operations · Non-Profit Organization Management · April 10, 2026
Pros: ClickUp is multi-functional and you can do a lot of things on the platform (such as track time, create workflows, store documents, create and track goals, etc.)
Cons: They will switch your plan or reduce your features without any notice and just expect that you deal with the changes on your account.
