ABSOLUTELY HEINOUS. If we could give zero stars we would. I cannot believe that such a simple system took 30 hours of calls over and over with support, with CSMs, with developers, to setup. We only have 2 locations, we have 4 phones, we have 6 total users. That's it. We need to take calls, and get voicemails if people dont answer. Yet they couldn't even figure that out.
Pros: ABSOLUTELY AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!!! We are two weeks in and searching for something else. There is absolutely NOTHING that we liked about GoToConnect. They sold us on something that didnt work, sold us the wrong amount of licenses, and then support continually told us "we will get it fixed after we hang up" to do absolutely NOTHING after. We show up the next day and the phones still dont work, there's no response, no communication back to us, and no actual help after spending hours on the phone the previous day. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
Cons: ABSOLUTELY AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!!! We are two weeks in and we have spent 30 hours trying to get anything to work. We are missing calls for days. We are a simple, small business with just 2 locations, 4 phones, 2 managers, and over and over support couldn't get it right and then our CSM spent days fixing it for it to break over and over. WE WILL NEVER BE BACK. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

I have had great luck with goto connect and their support team is quick to respond and find resolutions.
Pros: Ease of use with consolidated services. They have good phone & customer support with quick results. Their pricing structure is good.

Cons: The initial set up was a bit confusing and trying to navigate their bubble system when routing calls is confusing.

I’ve used GoTo for probably 8 years and it’s been consistent with no major update changes. I always know how it’ll work.
Pros: I appreciate the simplicity it has in allowing clients to connect without needing a downloaded application.
Cons: That even with a paid subscription I only have about half an hour for meetings. Sometimes they need to be longer.

Overall, I do like GoTo. Its a great product. I believe that it untethers people from their desks, and makes roles that rely on making/receiving calls, such as call centers more flexible to allow remote work. I would like to see (unless its a function that my employer didn't include in their package) and option where each extension has two lines so that the physical phone can be used if needed.
Pros: I like that I can take my extension with me as I go from office to remotely at home, and that I can use the app, should I not have my laptop available.
Cons: It stinks that if the internet connection goes out, then I have no access to my extension, and that if I am at home, and someone is in the office and needs a phone, they cannot use the physical phone at my desk if I'm logged in at home.

My overall experience is extremely positive. I have been using it for about 10 years now and I have never had an outage. The only time I have had poor voice quality was an issue with my own internal network.
Pros: Currently, one of the best features of Goto Connect is the new AI feature. It allows an AI receptionist for very reasonable rates. It has all the other standard features you expect from a VOIP provider and the pricing is very reasonable. ALSO, the quality is ALWAYS perfect. Another great feature is the outgoing VM message can be typed in and it will create a very high quality computer generated voice to play.
Cons: The learning curve for Goto Connect can be a little steep. Not that it is difficult, there are just a lot of options you can use. There are lots of video tutorials to get you through it.

Overall, I enjoy using the platform; it’s convenient, easy to download and use. I’ve used it multiple times for meetings.
Pros: I enjoy the video conferencing and AI tools of the platform. For the most part, it’s user-friendly and a convenient tool to use.
Cons: Sometimes there are some lags in the system with the audio portion of the platform and I’ve had some issues in the past with the call summarization and transcription.

GoTo Connect should rename itself “GoTo Disconnect” because that’s all you’ll get — disconnected phones, disconnected support, and disconnected ethics. Run. Don’t walk. Run the other way. There are a thousand better companies out there that actually deliver what they sell.
Pros: GoTo Connect is hands down the most useless, dishonest company I’ve ever dealt with. They couldn’t even manage to set up my account or activate my service, yet they were lightning-fast to charge my credit card for something I couldn’t use. No welcome call, no setup, no access — nothing but bills. When I tried to cancel, they hid behind some bogus “contract” even though I never once had a working account. They literally told me they were going to keep charging me for a service that never existed. Unreal.
Cons: Their support team is a black hole of incompetence — endless hold times, scripted apologies, and zero actual help. Every “manager” promises to call you back, but none of them ever do. The only way I finally stopped the bleeding was by canceling my card so they couldn’t keep stealing from me.

We have really enjoyed GoTo, and are satisfied with the app. It has helped us balance work and home life, as you have the ability to answer while not at work, but also the ability to set up work hours within the app.
Pros: We really like the ability to filter calls based on the kind of customer assistance needed. GoTo also shows us who is calling and it is almost always accurate.
Cons: The main thing I don't like, is not having the ability to send a message to a phone number that is not in your contacts. You have to call the person back, or wait for them to call you back. Also, many people do not listen to the whole prompt, they just choose the first name that is said.

My overall experience with GoTo Connect is very positive. The app fits all of our needs so far and is very easy to work with.
Pros: I have used GoTo Connect for almost four years now, and the features I loved the most are the Contact Center and the Analytics features. Being able to have an accurate view of every active agent in the call center is crucial.
Cons: The app needs to integrate its older feature called Call Reports. The newer updates don't have this feature and it makes it nearly impossible to keep track of an individual agents detailed call information.

Goto connect has some nice features and is reliable but compared to teams it is left severly wanting, as teams provides everything that goto meeting does but includes the intergration with other Microsft products.
Pros: The user interface is very easy to navigate. It is very reliable little to no down time from recvied by myself and the people I support
Cons: Costs are not very competitie compared to other software on the market. Intergration is lacking compared to other vendors e.g. teams

We went out for bid for a VOIP vendor and Goto is was the winning bid not just because of price but everything in general. They met all of our needs and surpassed them with flying colors.
Pros: The ease with which the entire project happened was amazing. The team at GOTO was also superb in everything that they did with us.
Cons: None that I can say because they are amazing.

Ao contratar me afirmaram em mensagens do whatsapp por escrito e também em vídeo que não haveria multa de cancelamento caso eu quisesse cancelar, porém estou há dois meses tentando cancelar e não resolvem meu problema, estão me cobrando uma multa de quase 1000 reais e continuam me mandando mensalidade mesmo eu já tendo pedido o cancelamento, Péssima experiência, não recomendo a ninguém.
Pros: Péssima experiência, demora para configurarem o software, cobrança abusiva de multa de cancelamento, na venda me falaram que não haveria e agora me mandaram boleto de quase mil reais. Muita morosidadde na resolução dos problemas, não recomendo a ninguém
Cons: Atendimento extremamente lento, equipe sem sincronia, um fala uma coisa e outro fala outra e muita morosidade na resolução de problemas.

General a good experience, we migrated most of the company off for more advanced features, but still use it for one subsidiary where it is cost effective and reliable.
Pros: It is a reliable and stable platform for VOIP usage with fairly easy to manage admin system and a reliable and mature desktop VOIP client.
Cons: missing some advanced features of more full featured systems like 8x8 but is less complicated, not as cheap as some other basic voip options

I am very pleased with the program. It is useful when I need tech support for software.
Pros: I like the video features it offers. I also think it is very easy to use on both ends.
Cons: Sometimes it's a bit slow to load the program.

The customer service agent was great, but the company policies and procedures are not customer-friendly, but rather are opaque and cost us a ton of money.
Pros: It was the best platform prior for webinars in past years.
Cons: The person who signed up for annual auto-renewal left the college and we didn't use the product for two years. GoTo did not send a reminder prior to charging the annual fee, and when we called the company to find out about the charge to the credit card, they could not locate the account. We found an old invoice from 2020 (no emails of receipts or invoices received to the original email in all that time!) and asked for a reversal of the charge, our request was denied.

Cons: I've only used the very basic functions in GoTo Meeting, so I don't have extensive knowledge. So far, no cons.

Pros: GoTo has made it easy to have our phones set up the way we want them to be. Not only can we edit the lines and extensions ourselves but their customer service team is always helpful if we cant figure it out in house. It also allows us to be remote if needed with their mobile app.

Poor service. Goto customer service people don't know their own system.
Pros: Having an app on my cell phone so I can answer a customer's call when away from my desk.
Cons: Doesn't facilitate being able to have a live person answer a call when a customer calls a specific extension. ie- When [sensitive content hidden] isn't at his desk and someone calls him I want to pick up his calls.

GoTo Connect is good and it works without breaking the bank. I would tell someone else starting a business that they should look at Connect.
Pros: Connecting is better because we only need one service and it's all stored together. After I set it up I liked it. Not hard to use at all. Everything is right where you need and expect it to be. With a good internet provider and connection there are no quality or speed problems. Real time chat is important to us and lets us connect instantly from different places without the interruption of video or voice calls. We're often filming and can't talk on the phone. I don't have to pay a lot for Goto Connect so that makes me like it even more. I think they charge what it's worth.
Cons: Sometimes getting help from customer support can be frustrating and hard. I don't always think they help the situation. If the internet connection is fuzzy then so are all of our communications. After it's restored it takes a while to catch up. But if you have a good provider there's no need to worry.

Excellent. Started with a online demo, was then offered physical devices and the chance to setup and use the system before making a commitment. Once we signed up the implementation team was very thorough and clear with what they required from us and when. All mile stones where hit at (or before) the estimated time. The switch over and porting went smoothly and the switch over happened without fuss, which was huge for us as the last time we made a change to our phone system it involved me and another IT employee staying at work until after midnight attempting to get things running.
Pros: Feature rich phone system that provides everything our business needs and more to allow our employees to make and receive calls. The auto attendant has allowed us to free up our document control personals time for more important matters than answering phone calls. Hard phones and soft phones work together seamlessly and offer our employees options on how they would like to receive calls.
Cons: The only negative I've experienced is that the SMS feature of the soft phones is unreliable. I've notice there is only about a 50% chance that any text message sent will be received. Particularly text verification (MFA) services don't seem to be received with the reliability that they would require.

Cons: - Requires strong internet connection.- Sometimes the phone calls are unresponsive.

Overall, I would recommend GoTo to my peers. It is a quality VoIP solution that has several advanced features without being overpriced vs its competition.
Pros: GoTo offers good voice quality as well as video conferencing. I have been using for almost 2 years now and have very rarely had issues like "robot voice" or the choppiness that you sometimes can get from a VoIP platform
Cons: While it is reliable most of the time, calls have gotten choppy in the past. This is rare however and happens less than once a month.
