So far, everything has been pretty awesome! It’s definitely worth the money, as it has saved us a huge amount of time through clear team communication that connects directly with emails. I can’t recommend it enough. On top of that, the team behind Missive really listens to feedback. We experienced this firsthand when they personally helped us solve an issue that technically wasn’t even their responsibility — but they still went out of their way to help. Easy 5/5 stars. Hopefully it only keeps getting better over time.
Pros: * Fast and reliable, we love the speed! * Saves our team time and money = buying it actually saved our money * Great-looking and modern UI - minimalist approach that we enjoy * Excellent mobile performance even for our IMAP accounts * Helpful and responsive support team - thanks!
Cons: There are still a few smaller areas such as search in IMAP accounts that could be improved over time, but nothing that significantly affects our daily workflow. The product is already very solid and keeps getting better with updates.

We rolled out Missive across the accounting department about ten months ago. It's given me the oversight I need while empowering my team to work independently. The transparency has improved accountability - people know their work is visible, which maintains quality standards.
Pros: The ability to jump into conversations when needed - either to assist with complex issues or ensure compliance - is invaluable. I particularly appreciate being able to review draft responses to sensitive matters (disputed invoices, collection issues, audit responses) before they're sent.

Cons: The permission hierarchy could be more sophisticated for larger teams with multiple levels of authority.

Very positive, super robust, and I like being able to communicate and collaborate with my team. Shared inboxes are really helpful.
Pros: Missive is the solution to a problem we've had for a long time. Email collaboration, onboarding new staff who need access to multiple inboxes, automated rules, signatures, group chat, etc. It's made internal communication, email handoff, and overall collaboration a breeze. Their customer support is very fast and responsive, A+. Big fan!
Cons: I wish they had a way to video chat (like Slack has) team members and since it's very robust, integration takes a little longer than I'd like

Overall, it has improved how we manage communication as a team. It reduces confusion and helps ensure emails are handled on time.
Pros: Missive is very helpful for teams that handle a lot of emails. It keeps everything organized with shared inboxes, and the ability to assign conversations and add internal notes makes teamwork much smoother.
Cons: There is a bit of a learning curve in the beginning, especially when setting up rules and workflows. Some features are not immediately intuitive.

About a year in now and it's completely changed how our marketing team deals with outside communications. The collaboration stuff ensures everything we send out matches our brand voice and is actually well crafted. Plays nice with the rest of our tech stack too. Getting everything configured the way we wanted took a bit of work upfront, but everyone got comfortable with it pretty fast
Pros: The real-time co-writing is probably the standout feature. When we're working on partner outreach or anything that needs careful wording, being able to build emails together makes a huge difference. Having the complete thread history visible also stops us from accidentally replying twice or missing something important.
Cons: Analytics are pretty bare-bones. Would really like deeper data on how fast we're responding and how the team's performing overall

Overall, Missive has helped us stay organized, avoid missed emails, and improve team coordination. It’s a reliable tool for managing client communication efficiently.
Pros: Missive makes shared inbox management very easy and improves team collaboration through internal comments, assignments, and clear ownership of emails.
Cons: Initial setup and workflow structuring take some time, and reporting features could be more detailed.
Anonymous User · Operations Manager · Financial Services · May 1, 2026
Coming up on a year using this for collections and accounts receivable. Our collection rates are genuinely better - stuff doesn't fall off our radar anymore so we're actually getting paid quicker. Also really helps that newer folks on the team can easily bump tricky collection cases up to someone more experienced without a bunch of forwarding and explaining.
Pros: Having the full payment conversation history right there helps me figure out how to handle each client - you can spot the patterns and adjust your approach accordingly. We built out a tagging system based on how overdue things are (30 days, 60 days, on payment plans, or disputed) which makes it dead simple to focus on the urgent stuff first.
Cons: The phone app works fine for basics but missing some of the desktop functionality I'd want when I need to check on accounts away from my computer.
Anonymous User · Accountant · Civil Engineering · April 30, 2026
We use this as our main tool for team emails now. It fixed many small issues and stopped us from sending duplicate replies. There was a short learning period, but now it’s part of our daily work. It works well for tracking ongoing conversations and making sure no one replies twice. Setup took some effort, but after that it has been running smoothly without causing new problems.
Pros: The comment feature is very useful—it lets us add notes and context directly without messy email chains. It also helps us quickly assign tasks during busy times.
Cons: Right out of the box, the notifications are a bit too frequent, so everyone needs to adjust their settings. The mobile app works well, but it doesn’t have all the features available on the desktop version.

While it was a big undertaking to learn all the ins and outs of the platform, I have had a great experience!
Pros: I like how I can tag my team in messages when I need their input! It is a good platform to communicate and coordinate with your team while also communicating with customers/clients.
Cons: All of the different inboxes can get confusing. Sometimes I feel like I don't know where my messages are going!
Lillian E. · Retail Growth Manager · Apparel & Fashion · April 28, 2026
Overall, my experience with Missive has been very positive. I would rate it a 4.5 out of 5 for its efficiency and collaboration features.
Pros: Missive makes team communication seamless through its shared inbox. It allows everyone involved in a conversation to easily stay in the loop, backread, and collaborate without needing to forward emails or manually update each other. This is especially helpful for sales and team-based workflows.
Cons: The scheduling features could use improvement. There are times when managing scheduled messages or timing options feels limited or a bit messy, which can lead to missed messages or confusion.
Lara Dominique M. · Sales Admin and Business Development · Wholesale · April 27, 2026
Pros: It is easy to use and make it easy to organize messages. Tagging people in threads also make it easier to communicate with one another.
Cons: When searching, you have to be very specific about what you are searching for. Sometimes I am not sure and do not remember the title of what I am looking for so it make it difficult.
Natalie W. · Production Associate · Apparel & Fashion · April 27, 2026
Pros: I like how easy it is to use and organized I can make everything. It is super easy to to email customers and stay on top of everything.
Cons: Sometimes it glitches when a lot of updates are happening and I don't realize it needs an update. But nothing super negative.
Lydia B. · Marketing Intern · Apparel & Fashion · April 27, 2026
overall great! there are small glitches but the support team is always super helpful getting them fixed
Pros: allows us to text customers in an organized way. I especially love the snooze, send later and different folders
Cons: I'd love to be able to see the messages I've snoozed. If e accidentally snooze a message, no way to find it unless I remember the name / until it pops back up
Sara H. · Account Manager · Apparel & Fashion · April 27, 2026
Eight months in and our sales process basically runs on this now. Being able to see who's working which opportunity is critical when people are traveling or taking time off. Training new reps has gotten way easier too since they can watch how our experienced sellers handle client communication and learn from actual examples.
Pros: he biggest win for us is writing emails as a team effort instead of solo. We can work on client responses together, drop feedback in the comments section, and get everyone on the same page before anything goes out. Plus the automatic sorting rules keep our deals organized without us having to manually file everything.
Cons: Searching through our email history from several months back takes longer than I'd like - works fine but isn't lightning fast.
Anonymous User · Financial Analyst · Financial Services · April 27, 2026
Amazing. Great customer support. Easy to use. Great value for the money. We've been customers for years.
Pros: SO easy to communicate internally about customer requests. Constant updates. Easy to learn. Such a great product!
Cons: Would love it if group text messages was easier to use with the dialpad integration. We use group texts a lot with customers and would be a great add.
Justin L. · Owner · Textiles · April 24, 2026
My experience with missive has been really helpful for my team to be able to collaborate and get help from each other easily.
Pros: I like that missive allows me to be able to help my team easier and quicker. With so many conversations happening at once, missives tools help keep things straight.
Cons: Sometimes when I archive something from my inbox, it archives for my coworker too. Im not sure if its something Im doing wrong, but Im always just in my own inbox.
Leigh M. · Product Specialist · Apparel & Fashion · April 24, 2026
Great, would be ideal if we could message with groups inside of Missive without having to go to a new app
Pros: streamline communication - love the way that our team can communicate and triage conversations and tag coworkers
Cons: lack of group message capabilities via Dialpad - would love to be able to message multiple people with Dialpad through Missive without having to go
Emily C. · Director of Sales · Textiles · April 23, 2026
Almost eight months using this for our combined payables and receivables work. The difference is night and day compared to before when everything was spread across personal email accounts with endless forwarding chains. Actually having a system now instead of just chaos has made the whole department more efficient.
Pros: Running AP and AR at the same time means I'm constantly switching between paying vendors and chasing client payments. Being able to set up different inboxes for each function but access them all from the same platform keeps things way more manageable than our old setup.
Cons: The ERP integration isn't quite where it needs to be - we're still manually syncing payment info between Missive and our accounting system after conversations wrap up.
Raghav M. · Marketing Analyst · Marketing and Advertising · April 23, 2026
My overall experience with Missive has been really positive. It’s been a great tool for keeping team communication and emails in one place, which makes collaboration much more efficient. I especially like being able to assign conversations and leave internal comments, as it helps keep everything organized and transparent. While it did take a bit of time to get used to all the features, once I got the hang of it, it definitely improved our workflow and made managing emails as a team much easier.
Pros: What I like most about Missive is how it keeps team communication and emails in one place. The ability to collaborate on threads, leave internal comments, and assign conversations makes it easy to stay organized and ensures nothing gets missed.
Cons: It can feel overwhelming at first due to many features. The interface gets cluttered, and notifications can be easy to miss sometimes.
Shantal M. · Administrative Assistant · Retail · April 23, 2026
Missive has made my day to day so much more efficient. Easy to learn & immediately solves double work, helps create clear reminders & communication with our customers & our team.
Pros: How easy it is to collaborate with a team on the same projects/ communication. Also the time saving templates & scheduled send options.
Cons: I wish I could easily view what emails/texts I have snoozed. I also wish there was a way to merge conversations when you're apart of multiple teams, and duplicate email threads are shared showing different content. Makes communication confusing & easy to miss details.
Jimi-Paige W. · Admin · Apparel & Fashion · April 22, 2026
I have been using Missive for the past five years, and my experience has been very positive. It allows me to manage client communications and internal team communications in one centralized platform. I do not see a need to switch to any other software, as it provides everything I require.
Pros: Ability to double-check with experienced team members before sending has been extremely valuable—particularly when handling complex billing disputes or unusual payment scenarios. Additionally, the ready-made response templates we have developed are highly effective, especially when managing repetitive payment confirmation requests throughout the day.
Cons: Some of our vendor invoices come through as PDFs that don't display correctly in the preview pane, which means I end up downloading them anyway. It's a minor inconvenience but happens often enough to be noticeable.
Amit G. · Marketing Manager · Marketing and Advertising · April 22, 2026
Prompt and professional service a perfect 10 and every way, excellent service and the software is so easy to use there was no ramp up time at all
Pros: I’ve used almost every email application over the last 20 years, Missive is hands-down the best i’ve ever used
Cons: Outstanding Customer Service, immediate response to email and the application is just so easy to use
John T. · CFO · Financial Services · April 21, 2026
We have been using Missive for our combined AP and AR operations for nearly eight months. It has significantly improved organization compared to our previous setup, which relied on multiple individual email accounts and forwarded messages.
Pros: Managing both accounts payable and receivable requires handling vendor payments and client collections simultaneously. Missive makes this much easier by allowing us to create separate shared inboxes for AP and AR, all within a single platform.
Cons: It would be more effective with stronger integration capabilities with ERP systems. Currently, we need to manually update payment systems after email communications.
YUDHVEER S. · Hotel Manager · Hospitality · April 17, 2026
Eight months in and this is part of our daily sales routine. Knowing exactly who owns which deal matters a lot, especially when teammates are traveling or out sick. Training new salespeople got much easier - they watch how our best reps talk to clients and naturally pick up good habits. Would definitely recommend to any sales team that wants to work together on customer emails
Pros: The best part for our team is writing client emails together before sending. Everyone adds to drafts, gives feedback through comments, and we make sure the message is right. Automation takes care of keeping our pipeline organized so we're not manually moving things around all the time.
Cons: Search works fine for recent stuff but gets slow when you need to find threads from several months ago.
Shikha P. · Senior Accountant · Accounting · April 14, 2026
Missive quietly became one of my most-used tools. I run multiple businesses with separate inboxes and it brought everything into one place without fuss. Efficient, well-designed, and it just works.
Pros: Consolidates multiple Gmail accounts into one clean interface, works entirely in the browser, and the mobile app is genuinely good. Customer support is responsive and helpful.
Cons: Took a little getting used to initially - took me ages to figure out how to use the sidebar effectively - it thinks slightly differently to a standard email client. Not a complaint really, just an adjustment.
