The customer service team is very responsive, and Copper has helped me become 10x more productive. I recommend it to everyone, particularly for sales and client relations.
Pros: I love the task manager and ease of keeping track of contacts. Tags help me stay organized, and adding custom fields to every record type is very helpful.
Cons: Sometimes it runs a little slow. I can't merge duplicate companies without scrolling through the entire list.

Overall Copper has been an invaluable partner to the agency. A month after implementing it our sales skyrocketed and have been growing ever since.
Pros: Copper has made managing my insurance sales pipelines an absolute dream! It's integrations with Google workspace streamlines every aspect of the sales process and has even streamlined our servicing and policy renewal process. Coppers interface is polished and very user friendly.
Cons: I wish I had more control over automatons, this isn't as much as a dislike than it is a wish I had. Copper is constantly developing so I'm sure it's only a matter of time before more customization comes to their automatons.

Our experience was fine in the early days, but over time it became frustrating. The billing and cancellation process is rigid and inflexible, especially for long-time customers who simply forget a legacy seat renewal. Copper refused to make an exception despite inactivity and prompt communication. It doesn’t feel like a customer-first approach, which is disappointing given how small the account is and how long we’d previously been customers.
Pros: The interface was clean and simple when we first used it. It integrated decently with Google Workspace
Cons: Inability to cancel easily. We haven’t been using Copper for over 3 years, but the subscription kept auto-renewing. When I reached out to request a refund right after renewal, support declined—even though the account had been completely inactive.

I have enjoyed it. Even with a few things I wish they had, the customer service team is helpful to explain whether or not certain things can be utilized.
Pros: Love the reminders and tasks that we can set to followup or complete tasks with customers. It allows me to assign them to myself or other team members.
Cons: Lack of templates for emails or sending estimates through it. I would love to be able to send estimates outside of my accounting software and send them through my CRM

I have had a good experience with Copper. Since my firm runs on Google workspace it is a seamless experience.
Pros: I like the integration with Google Workspace and the overall functionality of it. It has given me clarity abut my pipeline.
Cons: I really don't have any negative comments about Copper. Its the first CRM I've used - I have nothing else to compare it to.

We have since moved away from Copper, though it's probably a good solution for a small business getting into the CRM game.
Pros: Generally easy setup, though the effort was more on getting my team to adopt the platform. So that's more on us than Copper.
Cons: Inability to ingest UTM tracking parameters natively. We had to use a 3rd party tool in order to connect the attribution dots.

I am in Copper every single day. It keeps me on task and I can check in on what my colleagues are doing.
Pros: It tracks tasks, projects, people and companies. I can see the interactions my colleague have with customers and it is very customizable
Cons: It would be great if you could share a task with others, as in both people owning it. Or creating duplicate tasks. But its minor

Excellent! HubSpot had too much of a learning curve. We were up and running with Copper in one day.
Pros: It's a simple integration with the Google tools we already use.
Cons: It can be buggy sometimes. Adding emails from Gmail was simpler before they started moving things around.
Stephen M. · President · Marketing and Advertising · March 24, 2025
I would say its been pretty good for the most part.
Pros: I like the user friendly access you have to your complete sales funnel at any given time or place.
Cons: When entering a sales prospect having to add so much information.
Amy M. · Business Development rep. · Staffing and Recruiting · March 17, 2025
Its good when im signed in and use it but it logs me out constantly
Pros: Lead gen, opportunity tracking, mass email tool
Cons: Always signs you out, the extension is buggy and no longer autofills information

We have been very happy with it. Helped streamline our business in one spot.
Pros: So easy to use. Support it great as well. Helped our company get our sales in the same system.
Cons: I do not have any real problems with it. Connects to gmail.

Copper has been a great solution for our smaller company (13 FT employees). We can track notes on our clients, organize new inquiries for our services, and increase communication between team members as a result. We use Google Workspace, and the integration has been seamless, especially regarding our calendar sync. The connection to everyone's email is a huge time-saver, and it's extremely helpful to review something in my inbox and have their Copper profile pop up on the screen.
Pros: Copper has been a great solution for our smaller company (13 FT employees). We can track notes on our clients, organize new inquiries for our services, and have increased communication between team members as a result. We use Google Workspace, and the integration has been seamless, especially regarding our calendar sync.
Cons: Email Templates could be easier to use and more robust

Great, no issues using the program. Company provided
Pros: Usability, great program for sales and keeping track of your customers.
Cons: None, I haven't ran into any issues using copper/

It definitely has made organizing & monitoring opportunities easier than our previous process.
Pros: The pipelines make it easy to review the current stage of opportunities to see where bottlenecks occur & to keep opportunities moving.
Cons: Glitchy filters for activities in opportunities. The messages are not filtered according to the checked filters. They need to be unchecked & rechecked every time an opportunity is selected in order to display correctly. It is very frustrating.

Describe your overall experience with Copper: meh
Pros: simple UI, good integration market for automating related tools
Cons: simple UI is also clunky and at times nonfunctional the gmail extension breaks some basic gmail functionality which I reported probably 2 years ago at this point, with no resolution the customer service is slower than before and literally no one wants to talk to a bot the reporting tools are rudimentary, and i follow a concise 26-step process using the Copper API to extract customer emails when breaking down by certain criteria... not exactly user-friendly
Jon Z. · Director of Sales · Staffing and Recruiting · January 8, 2025
IT HAS BEEN A REALLY PROACTIVE AND OVERRAL GOOD EXPERIENCE, AND I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO OTHER COMPANIES LIKE MY OWN.
Pros: THE ABILITY TO SEE ALL THE INFORMATION FOR THE CONTACT, THE PROJECT AND MORE IN ONE PLACE,
Cons: IT HAS ALOT OF PERSONALIZED OPTIONS THAT CAN BE A LITTLE OVERWHELMING.

Overall, I like Copper and its capabilities. I just wish its training programs were more robust.
Pros: Copper provides a comprehensive suite of tools that allows me to track existing clients, identify opportunities, and communicate with different audiences based on their customer profile. It is highly customizable, allowing my to create a unique workflow for my needs. However, the best feature is Copper's ability to sync with my Gmail-based work account, capturing all conversations with clients.
Cons: Copper's highly customizable setup is also its downfall: there aren't many resources for training to the specific needs I may have. In other words, Copper's training modules are very generic; their support is geared around how to use the platform instead of speaking to a specific need Also, there are Q&A forums and office hours with staff support, but there aren't many video tutorials. I learn best by following along in a guided exercise, but there aren't many video tutorials. Other

Overall, this solution works for our small business.
Pros: It's very straight forward and has decent functionality for a small business that isn't ready for an expensive, customized CRM.
Cons: Feels clunky at times, some limited features.
Cecilia H. · VP of Economic Development · Market Research · January 4, 2025
Very helpful. Easy to use everyday. Saves paperwork
Pros: The simplicity of the program overall. Easy to use.
Cons: Getting set up was a little tricky. Thanks to [sensitive content hidden] we managed to get it done

Copper is designed so efficiently that its use is done intuitively. There's, quite literally, no real learning curve to speak of, yet it is very powerful and let's me get things done very quickly without wasting my time on figuring out how to use the product.
Pros: How incredibly easy it is to use yet how powerful it is. Its design is so intuitive that there really isn't a learning curve, I understood it instantly!
Cons: It doesn't allow me to customize the product as much as I'd like. I've designed software in the past and I tend to change software to suit my unique needs.
Richard H. · Director of New Business · Marketing and Advertising · December 18, 2024
Very helpful and beneficial! Always helps me accomplish my tasks in a timely manner!
Pros: I love how it keeps everything so organized and neat!
Cons: There is nothing I dislike. I think it does a fantastic job.
Brett B. · Strategist · Design · December 12, 2024
loving it, fast and easy to navigate and easy to read
Pros: Easy integration with other docs, easy to navigate the site
Cons: A bit fussy about searching for a name if spelling is incorrect
Dennis D. · Project Manager · Construction · December 9, 2024
I use copper 10 times a day to track deal progression at our firm. It helps me do that.
Pros: Copper is intuitive to use, provides great visuals, and enables impeccable analysis.
Cons: There are no problems with Copper just people inputting information wrong.
Will W. · Senior Analyst · Financial Services · December 9, 2024
Overall, I've been really appreciating having Copper around. It's extremely useful for organizing the hundreds of projects I oversee so whenever I have a call with this person or that person, I'm not scrambling to remember the details.
Pros: I like the UI design, the sorting features, the categorical colouring, and the consolidation of information/files. I also like that list item selections persist even after interacting with items, unlike classic spreadsheets like Excel and Sheets.
Cons: I hesitate to filter my lists because it feels sort of irreversible to an extent. I know it's not, but the act of going into the filter menu, changing pre-existing filters, and then pressing "update filter" *feels* hard to reverse. Subconsciously, I feel like if I changed my filter, I'm afraid of forgetting what it used to look like. I end up just sorting my column of interest alphabetically/numerically and then scrolling down the sorted list to the keyword I wanted to focus on. It would be cool if the filtering UX was a little less "daunting." I hope that makes sense!
Jovy M. · Program Coordinator · Biotechnology · December 6, 2024
Overall it works well for what we need it but it can be a little bit lacking in some departments
Pros: The most use we get out of copper is the ability to track conversation and email threads relating to projects.
Cons: There seems to be some holes in analyzing data. Not the easiest thing to do. I also with you could send out weekly reports that show each individual project changes.
