Pleasant but not anything to write home about. Good for what you need it for, a simple straightforward Rolodex of contacts/deals.
Pros: I liked the simplicity of the system being that it was easy to understand the level of product you were using. Options went to menus, and there was little complexity in navigating the actual system and UI. However, in that ease of use - there was a lack of flexibility and coverage as well.
Cons: This product is truly a CRM in every sense of the word. The start and end products were revolving around contact management essentially a Rolodex with not many expansion opportunities at the time I was using it. Great for a straightforward process, but leaving some items to be desired that other crms have moved towards.

Overall, my experience with SugarCRM has been good. It helps us manage customer information and service details pretty well, and I’d recommend it to other companies looking for a solid CRM.
Pros: What I like most about SugarCRM is that it keeps customer information organized in one place. Since we’re in a service-based industry, it’s helpful that we can track things like service details, check-in times, photos, before-and-after pictures, and key contacts. I also like that we can pull different reports and use the mapping feature to see where customer locations are.
Cons: The main downside is that some updates or changes have to go through an outside design team, so things can take longer than expected. Also, when updates happen, certain features may not work quite right at first and need some troubleshooting.

Overall it can serve as a strong choice if flexibility is priority and you are prepared for careful, ongoing management. It serves organisations best when a dedicated support function and/or developers are available to ensure custom modules and integrations and updated and maintained in parallel.
Pros: sugarcrm is highly flexible and can be tailored to fit specific niche requirements; this makes the platform very appealing for teams that want to adapt the CRM to the business rather than shaping workflows and processes around the out-of-box functionality
Cons: The heavy customisation as it's strength also serves as it's achiles heel; having so many custom modules means that long term maintenance and support is essential to keep everything functional after updates and major patches. Without this, operational risk is inherently exacerbated and makes staying ahead of version releases critical.

Great, completely allowed for tracking and moving business along with reporting on the business to stakeholders.
Pros: Easy to learn & adopt. Reporting is easy to build and profiles are simple to set up. Fast and easy to access.
Cons: I did not find any cons, perhaps it is simply how it was set up. It would of been great to have recurring revenue and greenfield tracked seperately from pipeline perspective.

Overall, SugarCRM is a good tool to manage all your contacts and create marketing campaigns (by email, by text messages, etc.). Import/export tools are quite well developed, whereas other integrations and features are to be paid separately.
Pros: SugarCRM is fairly easy to set up on a php+mysql (or other database) server.
Cons: Support is not always very responsive. Also, the GUI is quite outdated.

Pros: Easy setup. Cloud-hosted environment means low maintenance. Easy for small teams to customize without requiring developers.
Cons: Cloud hosting means no direct DB access, or config changes, instead relying on UI tools to customize and export. Nothing crazy though.

It is really a good product, they are currently making important changes, and integrations with other apps, it is very quick to learn to use and manages similarity in all its modules.
Pros: One of the points that we like most about Sugar is the possibility of generating any report, all the modules are related to each other, and generating modules to our own needs.
Cons: What we like least is that for the trends or projections to work, all the data in the system must be very well loaded.

Pros: First of all SugarCRM has a great set of features that outperforms many competitors. It comes with round the clock support and user forums for quick fixes and learning. Pipeline management and analysis powered by AI both thoroughly impressed me. I liked the integration with marketing.Dashlets are great organizers and lists are adjustable by filters. SugarCRM is customizable on many fronts.
Cons: I don't like how much we're paying for Sugar CRM. I don't like the learning curve that comes with it, it's hard even with great support. To me it doesn't look like enough care was taken to make a user friendly interface.Permissions for the entire team proved to be one of the worst tasks next to getting contacts imported which I had to do manually.

We don't need SugarCRM.
Pros: I like cloud based updates, but that's all I like.
Cons: Constant planned increases in price without keeping pace with new functionality. Forced to purchase through constantly changing reseller network. Having to pay for integration with Quickbooks. This is a dinosaur trying to avoid the tarpit.
