Overall, it was a good experience. There is a learning curve initially, but once I got comfortable with it, things became easier and more efficient.
Pros: I liked that everything is available in one place. Managing sales, CRM, inventory, and other tasks felt more organized compared to switching between multiple tools.
Cons: It took some time to understand in the beginning. Some features were not very intuitive at first, and a few things required searching through documentation or extra setup.

Overall it was mid. I wanted to like it. I wanted to use it. I was and still am unsure the best way to operate whether setting it up on our own servers or running it on other servers from people running it as a third party service.
Pros: The product itself is amazing. It can do just about anything. There are plenty of features across all business elements to run your entire business off Odoo.
Cons: Very very clunky and requires a fair bit of manipulation to set it up how you want. You will need a true programmer to fix things to talk how you want them to talk. You will need a programmer to set it up to best run whatever field you are in. Most others are fairly easy to frame as you want with some basic tech knowledge. Odoo needs more.

Odoo initially looked like a powerful all-in-one ERP platform, and we invested heavily into building our operations around it. Over time, however, the platform became increasingly difficult and expensive to maintain and upgrade due to the amount of customization required for real-world business use. Our recent experience was extremely concerning. We disputed a large unsupported-version surcharge that we do not believe we accepted contractually, and our database was subsequently shut down/restricted. After restoration, critical email-fetch services began failing, impacting communications and operations. Support acknowledged the issue but could not resolve it immediately and eventually escalated it to another team.
Pros: Odoo is highly customizable and can centralize many parts of a business into a single platform. The flexibility of the modules and ability to build custom workflows is one of its strongest features. For companies willing to heavily invest in development, it can become deeply integrated into operations, inventory, communications, and accounting. The issue is that once your company becomes deeply integrated into Odoo, upgrading versions becomes extremely expensive and operationally risky. In our case, we built a significant portion of our stack around Odoo, making major upgrades potentially cost hundreds of thousands of dollars in redevelopment and testing.
Cons: Our biggest issue was billing, support, and operational risk. Odoo attempted to charge us a large unsupported-version fee that we dispute and do not believe we ever contractually accepted. After disputing the fee, our database access was shut down/restricted, forcing us into an extremely difficult position operationally. After the database was restored, we began having issues with our email-fetch services and incoming emails were no longer properly entering the system. Odoo support acknowledged that the mail process was failing/crashing and ultimately escalated the issue because it could not be resolved immediately. For a business-critical ERP platform, database access, predictable billing, and urgent support should be far more reliable than what we experienced.

My overall experience with Odoo has been positive. The platform provides a comprehensive and centralized solution for managing different business operations, such as CRM, sales, inventory, accounting, HR, and project management, in one system
Pros: What I liked most about Odoo is its all-in-one business management approach. It integrates CRM, sales, accounting, inventory, HR, and project management into a single platform, which reduces the need for multiple software tools.
Cons: What I liked least about Odoo is that some modules can feel complex and require technical expertise during setup and customization, especially for businesses with unique workflows

Very good for novice users of IT products, or for boomers without formal training on it's use. Instructions included
Pros: There is a free version, ideal for new users, then after increased user and comfort, can upgrade to a pay version
Cons: We need 2 screens to view changes, and creating webpages for phone tablet and monitor viewing each require tweaking

We contracted with Odoo to develop a custom ERP solution for our small business over a year ago, and the project remains unfinished to this day. Throughout this process we have experienced constant developer turnover — multiple different developers have been assigned to our project, requiring us to repeatedly restart and re-explain our requirements. Each handoff has brought new delays, miscommunications, and lost progress. For a small business, this kind of prolonged uncertainty is not just frustrating — it's damaging. We've invested significant time and money into a system we still cannot use. Deadlines have been missed repeatedly with little accountability or transparency. If you are a small business considering Odoo's development services, I would strongly urge you to think carefully. The software platform itself may have merit, but the implementation and project management we experienced was unreliable and unprofessional.
Pros: The ERP as a whole has great functionality for small business. Very good and simple software, easy to work with at scale.
Cons: Dishonesty, lack of professionalism, false promises on deadlines, refused to give a hard target date on software development.

I required something that could provide student contacts, course billing and some minimal sales management without the sophistication of the enterprise package. Odoo includes all that and the price-value ratio is reasonable when it comes to a small business. The learning curve is a reality, but it is only after the curve that the use day-to-day becomes natural enough.
Pros: The invoicing, contact management, and sales tracking capabilities are all housed in a single roof without the need to pay three different tools and this is something that I really liked after it was all set up and operational.
Cons: I have had mixed responses to customer support. I asked some technical questions on transaction management a couple of times and the responses I received were so vague that they were not helpful.

overall its a solid product but not perfect. it has a lot of features but sometimes feels a bit messy or overwhelming.
Pros: good all in one solution, you can handle a lot of business stuff in one place which is really useful. pretty flexible with all the modules and once its set up it saves time. also scales well if your business grows
Cons: can get confusing pretty fast, especially in the beginning. setup takes quite some time and not everything is intuitive. also some features feel a bit unfinished or need manual adjustments which is annoying sometimes
Benjamin T. · IT-Systemadministrator · Telecommunications · April 18, 2026
Overall, it does the job for our needs, but the steep learning curve, integration issues, and sync issues have made it hard to have a seamless experience
Pros: All in one platform: I can manage sales, use as CRM, and use it for accounting purposes all in one platform. It can also scale as businesses grow and there is the option to integrate
Cons: Lots of sync issues with our native integration software. Leads often don't get pulled in and set up is complicated for those not technically savvy. Not ideal for businesses looking for a simple, seamless integrations and CRM management.

ODOO System management make your operation shifts more organized , and reach the KPIs goals by fair allocating humans and time.
Pros: regarding my experience I found the below good features of this soft : - The interface of ODOO system very easy and you can Access to tools you need simply. -The main function of it , manage and allocate the user and the centers and the departments functions in organized mood.
Cons: But the system need to improve and update the below : - Tracking shifts must be automated (a-z) - the update tools high expensive. -The system able to attack from hacking

Pros: What I liked most about Odoo is that everything is in one place, like CRM, accounting, ops… so you don’t switch tools all the time. It’s pretty easy to use, scales well, and you can customize it a lot, for a fair price too.
Cons: What I liked least about Odoo is that some features can feel a bit rough or not fully polished, and you sometimes need technical skills to customize things properly. Also, performance can slow down with many modules, and support isn’t always super responsive.
Elon E. · Compliance · Financial Services · April 3, 2026
It has stopped the rest of the team from having to utilize hundreds of spreadsheets that I hate. The bank feed allows me to know what is going to happen by the end of the month instead of being caught off guard. I can access this system with my cell phone while sitting at the dentist office waiting. As we continue to expand into various countries and subsequently multiple currency accounts, odoo can manage them all. Since we transitioned away from quickbooks, the audit trail is much cleaner and the auditors can simply go through their process.
Pros: The reports give you current, live numbers, IF (AND WHEN) you ever get around to putting in the actual data. We were forced to hire someone to repair the api, however once done it will transfer transactions from another platform which is acceptable. The csv imports for 1099s and customer additions are faster than I thought they would be.
Cons: When viewing things at the top level, I dislike seeing where an invoice belongs to within an entity since you cannot tell while running a report. Also, the tools used for creating your own custom reports are completely frustrating.
Eugene S. · Chief Product Officer and Co-Founder · Information Technology and Services · April 3, 2026
Its been good and easy to use , there have been no issues or glitches in the product, works smoothly . Support team is also good.
Pros: It’s genuinely one of the easiest tools to get started with, even for someone who isn’t from a specific background. All the modules as very user friendly. What stands out is the value for money, you get a lot of functionality without it feeling overly complex or expensive. The flexibility to customize based on business needs is a big plus and most clients already trust and relate to the brand, which makes adoption much smoother.
Cons: There is no module wise pricing - we have to pay one cost and you get a bunch of apps , which even if your not using is there. Would rather prefer to pay module wise for the apps that i useful to the company so that costs come down

Pros: I like the way have in odoo is one big ecosystem, which helps a lot for my clients to have all services in one place. Also have no issues so far with customer service.
Cons: Some of the more advanced modules feel a bit basic compared to dedicated tools. Also customization can get pricey when you need something outside the standard setup.
Damian G. · CTO · Computer Software · March 27, 2026
Generally it was easy to use, but often we were lacking functionality, when it was coming to structuring the data or when we wanted to have more advanced functions.
Pros: Odoo is mostly really easy to use, since most of the functions are simple and straight away. No need to long customizing, which makes it a good deal for small to medium organisations.
Cons: If you need some advanced funtionality Odoo is not the best solution. For large organisations, where you need to work with big amount of data, it makes difficult to clasfy, filter you information on a precise way.

I have been involved with this ERP for more than 5 years and use it daily in my business and with my customers.
Pros: Wonderful ERP, for small and big businesses, great CRM, Sales Management, Invoicing, and a big community around the world.
Cons: Some versions have big structure changes and do not always keep compatibility with custom modules written for older versions.
Manuel G. · Manager and Software Architect · Computer Software · March 7, 2026
Overall a powerful all-in-one ERP. Helps manage sales, contacts, and finances together. Slight learning curve, but very capable once set up.
Pros: Very flexible business platform. Many modules in one place—CRM, invoicing, sales. Easy to scale as business grows. Good customization.
Cons: Setup can take time. Some modules feel complex for new users. Occasional performance issues with larger data or many apps enabled.

Instead of piecing together multiple tools, Odoo integrates key business functions in one system which can simplify workflows and reduce tool sprawl.
Pros: Odoo’s biggest strength is its modular design...you can pick and choose what apps you need (CRM, inventory, accounting, project management, e-commerce, HR, etc.) and grow by adding more later.
Cons: What I like least is that while modular pricing seems flexible, costs can escalate quickly if you unlock many features or add a lot of users.
Ryan P. · Lead Designer · Design · February 28, 2026
Pros: It is an all-in-one suite that eliminates the need for multiple, disconnected software systems by centralising functions like CRM, sales, and accounting.
Cons: Setting up and configuring the system correctly can be difficult and time-consuming, often requiring technical expertise or external consultants.
Anonymous User · System Admin · Hospital & Health Care · February 24, 2026
Overall, Odoo is a really great app. It is very easy to learn and use. Many features like customization, tasks tracking, multiple integration and automation are available which saves a lot of time. It's been around 4 months i have been using Odoo and i love it. From sales and invoicing to task management everything is at one place. Pricing goes up as we app more features and apps however it is worth to use it.
Pros: The best thing about Odoo is that it is all in one integration. It manages sales, CRM, inventory, HR, accounting and projects. Odoo also automates many stuffs such as invoicing, workflow approvals and follow ups which saves a lot of time. It is also very easy to use and has features for customization. It is a good value for the money.
Cons: Customer support feels bit slow with lower price subscriptions. With Higher plans subscription the customer service is feaster somehow.
Yatra P. · Omni Associate · Retail · February 12, 2026
Don't waste your time with Odoo... most people who recommend it are being paid a referral fee... the support is extremely slow and almost non-existent in my experience and the services are slow and difficult to learn... I have wasted hundreds on dollars on Odoo and hope you don't make the same mistake.
Pros: Nothing... difficult to use and terrible support!!!! I have been building websites since 1998 and trying to work out how Odoo works is so difficult... in my opinion they make it so difficult so you have to hire someone to use it.
Cons: The software is difficult to work out and use, documentation is poor... it is expensive once you start adding things on and support is terrible.

It's good tool for ERM, keeping finance, sales, CRM, HR, etc - all your data in one place. Community edition is free and open-source, so great to get a hands-on and explore.
Pros: Odoo helps us streamline functions, centralize data and run business smoothly at a cheap price. It's customizable, apt for small businesses and has easy to use UI.
Cons: It's quite flexible but it's not easy to customize. You may need to work with certified partners for successful use.
