Outreach supports sales teams in managing daily outreach, automating tasks, and tracking engagement across email and CRM workflows. It’s most used in software services and marketing, especially by sales and business development teams. Users value its email tracking and contact management, though many cite friction with task workflows and CRM syncing. Recent AI-powered updates improve meeting prep, deal visibility, and prospect research.

Overall very positive, on target with other cadence management solutions at a value price point. Very happy with my former usage of the product and would consider it again!
Pros: The pros for outreach were involving a mix of ease of use, value for price, and adoption for the actual software usage amongst the team. Coming from salesloft, outreach was a great alternative for most of the same suite of offerings and support was just as strong as Salesloft was.
Cons: The biggest con for my experience was initial onboarding / set up. Support overall was good, but the initial usage and adoption was a bit of challenge. Instructional guides were lacking, or potentially just not properly dispersed to ALL members of the rev team.

I've been using outreach for years across several companies for different types of GTM teams. It's the best tool for SDRs and AEs at all types of levels to do prospecting at scale.
Pros: Outreach is the category leader for sales enablement tools. It's the best tool to use for prospecting at scale.
Cons: I don't have any complaints. Outreach continues to deliver on its product and overall customer support.

I have been using outreach for 4 years now and have no complains , it is a great tool and I use it on a daily basis
Pros: I like that outreach integrates seamlessly with salesforce, is very easy to use and I can send linkedin connections, campaigns, create my templates and also call all from the same platform
Cons: I don't think that there is anything I don't like about outreach, overall a great tool and very easy to use

Overall I like the tool. I like adding prospects to sequences and having the action notation to Salesforce
Pros: It keeps me organized and accountable for my day. As an account executive, this is critical. The automation saves so much time in my day.
Cons: Interface navigation can be a little challenging sometimes. There were times where I could not find the button to click to remove someone from a sequence.
Barry D. · Account Executive · Telecommunications · January 19, 2026
Pros: Great for outreach analytics, automation and sequencing - also helpful to allow dials from different dial codes.
Cons: Generally nothing to complain about, however if you do need assistance, sometimes the response rate can be a bit slow.
Anonymous User · AE · Computer Software · December 29, 2025
Solid - the UI/UX is not the easiest to navigate and we found competitiors easier to set up, however once in functionality, reporting and integrations are far superior.
Pros: Best in class product vs salesloft or clari in market - functionality, reporting and for sales dev teams this has far more to offer.
Cons: set up and learning curve, salesloft is a lot easier to use for just dialling/cadences having swtiched between the two.

My experience with Outreach has been very positive. The platform streamlines sales engagement through automation while remaining easy to use for day-to-day tasks. It saves a significant amount of time, helps keep outreach organized, and makes it easier to scale prospecting efforts effectively. Even with a small learning curve at the beginning, the benefits in efficiency and productivity are clear.
Pros: Outreach makes sales automation simple and efficient. The platform is very intuitive, and setting up sequences is quick and straightforward. Its ease of use saves a lot of time on repetitive tasks and allows me to focus more on engaging with prospects.
Cons: Some features can feel a bit complex at first, and there’s a short learning curve when setting up advanced workflows. However, once you get used to it, the platform runs smoothly.

Overall I would say my experience with Outreach has been amazing. If your team does not have a tool to use that keeps their calls, emails, LinkedIn messages, texts, campaigns, reports, and any other tasks in one place, then give it a try. I know using Outreach is one tool that has enhanced my skillset and made me a better SDR overall. Think of what this could mean for an entire team!!
Pros: Outreach is a robust and stellar platform that will keep the sales team organized, efficient, and effective. I use Outreach to perform my everyday tasks as an SDR and without it I would be lost. The reports keep the entire team on the same page so that we are consistent and professional in our messaging. I am able to create my targeted cadences quickly and easily. There is data to support the effectiveness of my email campaigns which keep me from wasting time on things that are not working and keeps me focused on what is working. I know my work is safe and secure because we are able to access Outreach through our single-sign-on portal, but it is not distracting where I would need to sign in several times or after a few clicks. Anytime I am having an issue I can reach out to the Outreach support team and they are so friendly and happy to assist. They even have Outreach University which helps me level up my skillset on a regular basis.
Cons: Sometimes Outreach can be a little bit complicated and all of the bells and whistles can be overwhelming when you want to complete a simple tasks. Pulling lists with your own criteria can be difficult at times, but generally Outreach does exactly what you need it to do. You sometimes just have to figure out HOW!

Making the life of a sales rep way easier by giving an easy to use platform to customize and execute outreach.
Pros: I have been using Outreach at 2 different companies now. It is in my opinion the best tool in the market - it integrates with our CRM and other tools, it has adaptability to set it up for smaller and bigger sales teams and you can set up a mix of different actions in the sequences (manual vs. auto, social connects, calls etc). It makes it highly customisable to the outreach you want to achieve and with the dashboards you can easily change your approach after.
Cons: There's some minor features that are still annoying to deal with. Blockers in sequences (bounced emails that will disrupt sequences) etc, for the rest I'm very happy with Outreach.
Randy P. · Account manager · Computer Software · July 7, 2025
Pros: The core functionality is great and does what we need it to accomplish - the automation we can set up and the integrations to our CRM work great.
Cons: There are some features that would expect to be part of a GTM tool that handles A/B testing and scalability well, like history tracking, version controlling, and easier ways to verify our business to ensure our phone calls and emails don't hit spam. These aren't major issues, but would be very nice to have.
Matt K. · RevOps Manager · Computer Software · May 31, 2025
My team and I had a great experience with Outreach! It was especially helpful due to our call quota being 490 dials per week. We were able to keep track of our own dials as well as see where the team stood.
Pros: Helps sales staff organize daily tasks by importance as well as by outreach channel making it easy to differentiate outreach efforts.
Cons: Sometimes there was less flexibility with logging off-platform outreach efforts, which is something that happens often with sales staff.

Overall outreach is a good place for businesses to help grow
Pros: I like that outreach offers email automation and it’s really easy to do
Cons: I don’t have anything I dislike about outreach and works well
Yasmin D. · Ceo · Apparel & Fashion · April 19, 2025
Pros: I like how easy it is to add people into sequences and create structured steps to ensure I am reaching out to the right people at the right time
Cons: I don’t think outreach is a great job at pipeline management. I really only used it to do outreach, but if they had better pipeline management, that would be great.

There has been a noticeable improvement in our sales process. We can monitor email activity and determine if our potential customers have been reviewing our proposals as we prepare them. Because of this, we can quickly review our approach and seal the deals. In addition to storing and creating information, we can also communicate effectively with the market and stay in touch with our current clientele. We have been able to exceed our sales targets by adjusting our strategy in response to important metrics such as response time and email open rate.
Pros: We attribute the increase in sales to the assistance of Outreach to differentiate our brand from the competition. The strengths and opportunities for improvement of our company can be assessed using the tools available to us. It makes it easier for us to communicate quickly with customers by allowing us to provide relevant and correct information. Also, online conferencing and email communication have been a lifesaver; the email monitoring feature is excellent and lets us know if customers are reading our messages. Our ability to adapt our sales plan in real time is greatly enhanced by this. Pre-, mid-, and post-transaction planning has greatly improved our ability to keep in touch with customers and ensure their satisfaction.
Cons: Compared to other platforms with comparable functionality, the price is somewhat high, but the sophisticated tools and their ability to integrate with other tools make it worth it.

Outreach is amazing for doing all sorts of outbounding and inbounding
Pros: I do all my outbounding through Outreach and love how easy and productive it is
Cons: I haven't had any issues with Outreach so far
Anonymous User · Sr SDR · Computer Software · February 4, 2025
The product has everything an SDR would need to run their day, and nothing they don't. A phone and email solution that also allows you to run social (LinkedIn) steps as part of a sequence. Thoughtful and well-done.
Pros: The product integrates with the entire sales and marketing stack, making it really easy to build Outreach into a CRM just for your SDRs so they aren't alt-tabbing between Salesforce, Outreach, and other systems. It's all at their fingertips.
Cons: The Salesforce connector in particular can be a bit persnickety. While the technical support reps at Outreach are really strong, there's a lot of heavy lifting involved in tuning the Salesforce connector to make sure it works just right.
Anonymous User · COO · Computer Software · January 27, 2025
Pros: Je trouve qu'il a une automatisation puissante des tâches commerciale.
Cons: Je trouve que la mise en œuvre et la configuration initiale peuvent être complexes pour un non expert.
Hamdi A. · Product Owner · Internet · January 16, 2025
Pros: easy to understand interface with good knowledge sharing
Cons: complex and opaque when it comes to archiving
jess p. · bd · Marketing and Advertising · December 14, 2024
overall positive, it's an app that saves time with your day to day sales activities between calling, emailing, sequencing etc.
Pros: Outreach is a tool that vastly simplifies "outreach" itself. What I like the most is the salesforce intregration; I can open any account/contact/opp and reach out to the stakeholder, calling especially is much easier than done through other sf integrations I've tried and I like how everything is correctly logged.
Cons: tends to be a bit buggy; I've had the app crash mid-call which makes for bad client experience
Anonymous User · Account Executive · Information Technology and Services · December 2, 2024
Pros: I love the ability to create your own "sequences", ease of integration, and customization within
Cons: I dislike that when using Outreach to dial, it can be slow and delayed
Kiersten M. · SDR · Retail · September 28, 2024
Pros: It makes prospecting by account so much easier, especially if you have multiple prospects in each account. Additionally, leveraging their triggers and automation can help you scale your outreach.
Cons: It is a very complex system but effective, there was much time spent configuring the platform to do what we needed but once set up it was awesome.
Ryan N. · Sales Executive · Banking · July 15, 2024
Pros: It helped a lot integrating scrapping tools with Outreach for mass email marketing.
Cons: Sometimes takes a while to sync with the mailbox (or even send).
Luciana L. · Client Partner · Marketing and Advertising · June 10, 2024
Pros: I use Outreach on a weekly to monthly basis to bulk email groups of customers who have been specifically pre-selected and then uploaded onto the platform. Outreach is super intuitive. I can write my outbound email sequences, with follow up emails attached, set when they're to be sent out, the space between them, whether to tie the contact information to that in Salesforce. Then within a matter of clicks I can have one email sequence sent out to hundreds of contacts. Makes ABM so much easier for us.
Cons: Nothing of note, it's not super easy to pick up initially but requires minimal training.
Elli J. · Customer Marketing Manager · Computer Software · May 27, 2024
Pros: Outreach.io is an easy-to-use tool and incredibly helpful for our Sales Department. Whether you are a Sales Representative, Enablement/Operations, or a Sales Leader, it helps provide visibility into all activity metrics, keeps reps on track with daily/monthly activity, and takes the guess-work out of identifying prospects a rep needs to follow up with or prioritize throughout their outbound sales motion.
Cons: Some of the reporting functionality could be improved. For example, daily activity metrics has a 15-minute delay or so for pulling accurate metrics, which can make it difficult to identify underperforming reps in real-time. Also limited reporting in terms of filtering custom dates (currently cannot pull total activity metrics for 3 months - which creates a manual effort when reporting on quarterly activity goals for an organization)
Erin T. · Sales Enablement · Marketing and Advertising · November 15, 2023
Pros: I use to like reporting and reliability but with updates none of that works
Cons: It’s unreliable and drops constantly. The reporting is no longer live. CSM doesn’t even know that we can transfer calls. It’s worthless
