Salesforce Sales Cloud helps small businesses manage customer relationships, track sales, and automate outreach. It’s most used by sales and support teams in the IT and software services industries. Users value its client tracking and customizable dashboards, though many cite pricing and interface complexity as friction points. Recent updates, such as Agentforce quoting and predictive AI, improve deal velocity and reduce manual work.

I have used Salesforce Sales Cloud for around five years. It is a great way to manage your contact needs and all your contact tasks.
Pros: It is the most comprehensive contact management platform I've ever used. Its dashboard feature is a big positive and highly customizable.
Cons: With Salesforce Sales Cloud capable of so much, it has a significant learning curve. Their onboarding team and online tools to help with this challenge.

It saves me time and is a very efficient way to organize and manage incoming leads as well as future marketing efforts.
Pros: Salesforce Sales Cloud is a great tool to receive incoming and working leads. I love that I’m able to see all of my upcoming and daily tasks and it will auto set up the next task to go out once I complete a lead reach out. It saves me time and energy!
Cons: Salesforce Sales Cloud is great! Sometimes some of the leads that come in don’t always have a valid email address or phone number but other than that, it’s great.

There is no giant Enterprise Command Centre, we use Salesforce Sales Cloud as our sales memory. For marketing consultancy, it helps me to keep track on warm introductions, on when to re-up on retainers, when to upsell on campaigns, and who was the last one to touch who. The platform is crying out for care; "dirty data" is strongly punished. But, I believe the forecast more than our old spreadsheet when I look at the week on Friday.
Pros: The thing I love the most is it disciplines our little agency! All leads from referral, LinkedIn and proposal forms go in one place, and I can tell me what communication channels helped to advance a prospect. The User Interface (UI) is a bit crowded, but List View, Dashboard and Page Creation and Management enable me to create pipeline pages for clients without having to wait for a developer.
Cons: There was more fiddling involved than I thought there would be for a group of 6. Ease of Use is to a large extent dependent on how neatly you set up fields, stages and permissions. Customer Support has been helpful but responses sometimes direct to lengthy support articles. When we put on seats for occasional users, it hurts our Value for Money.

It's an overall very powerful and solid tool to manage software projects and sales. It keeps me organized and all of my information in one place from initial client conversation to final code delivery. If a bit complex in its nature, once it is understood with the flow, it looks very professional. This is an excellent option to utilize for any development manager wishing to expand their business and to maintain the development team on track.
Pros: I am particularly fond of the centralized nature of all of our client information and project data in one location. As a manager, it's very useful to see what my developers are working on, and how far we have come. I see the charts and numbers clearly and there is no confusion on the dashboard. It also integrates well with other programs I use to code and send emails, so I may not need to copy/paste a lot of times. This helps save a lot of my morning time as I review our goals for the day.
Cons: The primary issue is that it is actually very large and with the numerous buttons. It could be a bit over-weight at times and at the beginning new members on my team struggle with learning. I believe the small teams looking for basic features should be paying less for the price.

Overall, my experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud was very positive. It helped streamline sales processes, improve pipeline visibility, and keep customer information organized, though it took some time to fully learn and configure the platform effectively.
Pros: What I liked most about Salesforce Sales Cloud was its flexibility and powerful customization options. It made it easy to manage leads, track opportunities, and keep the sales pipeline organized in one place.
Cons: The biggest downside was the learning curve and complexity. Some features can feel overwhelming at first, and customization or reporting often requires extra setup and training.

Overall, my experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud has been very positive. It is a robust and reliable solution that significantly enhances sales tracking, customer relationship management, and operational transparency. While there is a learning curve and upfront investment, the long-term benefits in terms of efficiency, scalability, and data-driven decision-making make it a worthwhile platform for organizations looking to mature their sales processes.
Pros: What stood out most was the platform’s customization and reporting capabilities. The ability to tailor workflows, dashboards, and data fields to align with specific business processes is extremely valuable. The real-time reporting and analytics provide strong visibility into pipeline performance, allowing for better forecasting and more informed decision-making. Additionally, the integration with other Salesforce products and third-party tools creates a centralized ecosystem that improves efficiency across teams.
Cons: The platform can be complex to implement and manage, particularly for organizations without dedicated Salesforce administrators. Initial setup and customization often require significant time and technical expertise. Additionally, licensing costs can become quite high as more features and users are added, which may be a concern for smaller teams or budget-conscious organizations.

Overall we very much like it and it is adding a lot to our company from a productivity standpoint. We anticipate using it for a long time to come.
Pros: First of all, it is very easy to use. The real other benefit is that everyone uses it so the reps are used to using Salesforce and love it.
Cons: The implementation time to go from one CRM to Salesforce takes time and you may need to hire some consultants to help implement it.

Its a great tool because you can manage everything about client in one application including linking with 3rd party service providers like couriers
Pros: It integrates all necessary contacts for clients and all relevant alternatives in one place therefore account management is pretty tidy
Cons: The user interface buttons may seem too many for new users and their closeness can make pressing a wrong one easy

Salesforce Sales Cloud is a premier solution for any organization looking to scale, offering a User Interface that is both sleek and highly functional once tailored to your specific needs. The Lightning Experience makes navigating complex customer data surprisingly fluid, with drag and drop custom pages that keep the most important insights front and center. While the system is vast, the Customer Support ecosystem is exceptional; between the highly responsive community forums and the gamified learning of Trailhead, you are never truly stuck. Overall, my experience has been one of total empowerment, as the platform transforms messy data into a clear, actionable roadmap for growth, making it an indispensable partner for a high performing sales team
Pros: Salesforce Sales Cloud remains the gold standard for CRM scalability, offering an unrivaled level of customization that allows you to build a workspace tailored specifically to complex business workflows. While the initial setup and "add-on" pricing structure present a steep learning curve and significant investment, the platform’s strength lies in its seamless communication integrations particularly with Slack and its robust Lightning App Builder for personalized page management. The most impressive aspect is the predictive power of its AI driven insights, which provides clear visibility into pipeline health and ensures that no high value lead is overlooked, making it a powerhouse for teams that prioritize data driven growth
Cons: The main drawbacks are the high total cost of ownership and the steep learning curve, as essential features often require expensive add-ons and a dedicated administrator to manage the complex setup. Despite the modern UI, the platform can still feel cluttered and unintuitive, requiring significant training for new users to navigate daily tasks efficiently.

My overall experience with salesforce cloud at IQor VBC has been largely positive and practical for the kind of work we do . Since we handle bill collection for US and UK business, having a system that brings everything together is really important and salesforce does it well . On a daily basics, it helps me quickly access to customer details , billing history , and past interaction and all payment related information at same place.
Pros: Working at iQor, where handle bill collection for the both US and UK business, I have come relay heavily on salesforce cloud in my daily work and honestly ,it's made things a lot smoother. In role like ours we need quick and clear access to customer information . With salesforce cloud , i can see complete view of the customer in seconds like there their billing history , previous conversation , outstanding bill , even the payment link and also its lot easier to update payment methods. It really helps me approach each interaction with better understanding and confidence.
Cons: While it really supports our work at IQor VBC, there are few moments where it can feel bit challenging on practical level . The challenges we face is that the system can sometime feels a bit complex, especially for new users. There are many features and option , which is great , but it can take time to fully understand how everything works and the other issue is sometime the platform can be slightly slow at time, especially when loading detailed costumer report or generating reports.
Arnold D. · Collection lead Iqor · Outsourcing/Offshoring · April 29, 2026
It can be a bit overwhelming at first as it is such a VERY detailed oriented tool, but once you get the understanding of how it works, you just feel like a machine on auto pilot, it does not need much mental strain to do daily tasks and actually makes things smoother!
Pros: Salesforce is THE hub for our whole online career! It’s where we can have all of our information that everyone in the company can keep track of as we go through our process of converting browsing an eyes on our website into becoming customers. Note taking is a breeze and keeps everything neat and tidy for others to find what they need even if they have yet to work with that customer.
Cons: It can feel a bit too manual. I do wish some things can be automatic. Such as if we create a lead and attach a realtor (I am in new home sales), once we convert the lead to a actual customer for a community, everything that was tied to that contact, should follow with it. Including the relationships such as the realtor we already added before we converted them.

Overall, my experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud has been positive. It is a powerful CRM that helps organize sales processes, improve visibility, and keep customer information structured. Once users understand the system and the workflows are configured properly, it becomes a strong tool for managing customer relationships, tracking opportunities, and improving collaboration across teams.
Pros: What I like most is how flexible and scalable the platform is. Salesforce Sales Cloud makes it easy to manage accounts, contacts, opportunities, tasks, and sales activity in one centralized place. The dashboards and reporting tools are also very useful for tracking pipeline, performance, and customer activity without needing to manually pull everything together.
Cons: The biggest downside is that it can feel overwhelming at first, especially for users who are not familiar with Salesforce. There are a lot of features, menus, and configuration options, so the system really depends on proper setup and training. Some workflows can also feel more complicated than they need to be if the environment is not configured cleanly.

Hard to describe Salesforce overall--it has its positives and has its negatives. If I had my choice I would go for a simple CRM
Pros: Its the standard CRM. It has everything you could want, and then some. But at the same time, the plethora of features is also its biggest pain point.
Cons: As with the overall Salesforce platform, things are clunky and all over the place. Salesforce is a sort of everything for everyone CRM which means it does not have a solid interface, but one that is customizable, but at the same time very disorganized

I used the platform every day for 2 years, managing a huge team of covid contact tracers under DPH funding for Massachusetts. I was able to learn the program after a few trainings and with continued learning and support. It was easy to use for someone who had never used it before.
Pros: I used this platform from 2020-2022 when overseeing the DPH funding for covid contact tracing and community support. The communication channels offered a seamless opportunity to collaborate among the large team in Massachusetts, and user interface is critical for ease of use with multiple employees logging in and out throughout projects. I was able to be on the platform all day, often utilizing customer support as systems updated often.
Cons: I recall utilizing customer support often, as sometimes the system would not load, not update or require us to log off and back on often. However, I will say that at the end of the day, the system allowed us seamless communication, clients data, staff workflows were easy to generate and notes were always secured and easy to access.

Positive, easy to navigate solution which has a lot of features to help create a siloed workflow to the team.
Pros: Great tool to allow reporting, reviewing accounts and notes, whilst also tracking pipeline and deals.
Cons: There is not a fluid relationship between child and parent accounts, so it can create duplicates or crossovers.

It has been a solid and satisfying experience, creating ease of use and manageable site interactions.
Pros: It has great continuity for the aspects of website hosting, creating a smooth flow for changes in structure.
Cons: It has many times where the data from the site and the input from the UX is not fluid and creates lag or extraneous prompts.

Overall, this tool is one of the best in the business. With the high level of integration capabilities, there really isn't anything Salesforce can't do!
Pros: One of the most robust sales platforms on the planet. This tool is extremely well known across the globe. The level of customization available means that it can be tailored to any business needs. The high level of customer support and third-party support available is unparalleled. Setup is fairly simple with lots of out of the box packages. Creation and management of components makes it so the end user can easily navigate.
Cons: Very powerful tools like this tend to come with a lot of setup. Being that it is so highly customizable, it gets overlooked from time to time. It does take special skills to be able to administer these environments.

I've had a fantastic experience with Salesforce. I have been a Salesforce administrator since 2013, and I think it is a great platform.
Pros: Salesforce is a flexible platform, and I appreciate the ability to make customizations. Pages are completely customizable, and there are many options for automation. Also, the cloud service is extremely reliable and robust.
Cons: Data storage limits out of the box are restrictive, and the cost for additional storage is very high.

Pros: I loved how easy and user friendly salesforce is once you are familiar with the tool. It simplifies a lot of work and helped to structure my day and tasks to do
Cons: Although user friendly it might take a while to get used to all features and to tie it to everyday tasks and use

Salesforce Sales Cloud is a key tool for structuring sales tracking and improving visibility over the pipeline.
Pros: Opportunity and account management are very comprehensive. The tool integrates well within an already structured business environment.
Cons: Implementation can take time and often requires adjustments. Without well-organised data, the platform can quickly become complex to use on a daily basis.

Pros: I like how Salesforce Sales Cloud keeps all client and sales information organized in one place. It makes tracking leads, managing relationships, and staying on top of opportunities much easier and more efficient.
Cons: Sometimes Salesforce Sales Cloud can feel a bit complex, especially for new users, and it takes time to learn all the features, but it becomes very powerful once you get used to it.

Overall, I am having good experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud. It is scalable and reliable CRM that helps business to grow more and their sales process make more easy.
Pros: Salesforce Sales Cloud provides a complete platform to handle leads, accounts and opportunity and some of customer interactions in one place. I really like automation flows such as notify to admin when new lead has been created, and sending some personalized email to client and other user with easy in few clicks. This platform also integrate with other tools in the Salesforce ecosystem and supports nice collaboration between teams.
Cons: Salesforce Sales Cloud is really nice, but the initial setup and some of customization really need some time and for new organization. And, the most is licensing cost can be really higher compared to other.

Pros: I genuinely wished there were an additional star so I could give it a 6-star rating. No issues, we are committed to using it!
Cons: Still no cons. If you are on the fence, please get off 😇 it works for us, and I still recommend it to date.
